pedal clips are my biggest fear lol. my trails look similar, more rooty maybe and more sharp turns so i've pedal clipped a few times and got lucky but I know it'll get me one day. i need a wheel with some more height and suspension i just noticed in an older video you're on a v13. Do you still have that wheel and how do you like it compared to the ET Max? I was eyeing up the v13 for the pedal height and big wheel for city potholes and roots.
@@0xsergy the v13 was ok but super heavy with weak suspension and motor bolts witch I didn’t like . Pedal hight was good but torque wasn’t all there . If you want pedal hight and power the master v4 is a great deal with 50s batteries. Check out my new video blitz pedals seems to be good and if you want to make them higher they are making adjustable bracket to raise them up. Also et max pedals can go up higher but still have to watch out for batteries case.
@Watts_garage did you actually feel the lack of torque on it? I don't really have that many crazy climbs(plus not as big a guy as you) so it might be enough. I just like the water rating on it, I've already called off many rides due to chances of rain so being a bit more free in that regard is why it seemed good. Lots of rain in ontario Canada. Shame about the motor bolt issue, it's my biggest fear on that wheel. Even just seeing how that entire heavy wheel is relying on 4 little bolts scares me a bit. It's a shame inmotion cheaped out instead of going with 6 bolts or something.
