Fun fact I just found out: The school bus in the beginning leaves into a dead end street (Amesbury Road in LA, heading towards Griffith Park). So Millie just has to wait there for the bus returning and everything's fine 😁

This is true story of Romy having the first thought that she might be gay when she was 13/14.
She missed school accidentally and went to hang out with her brothers friends in a haunted forrest by their home. While all her brothers friends were cuddling up to girls and making out, she had her first thought that she might in to girls more than boys; which at first scared her so she panicked and ran off.
The line, “I can hear it now like I heard it then,” is a reference to her remembering that scenario even 13/14 years ago. ‘I Dare You’ is about her daring herself to believe that she might not be like the other kids around her.

I was wondering the same thing! First I thought, it was because she realized how intimate the moment was when the two couples were enjoying each other during the slow dance in the mansion, and realized she shouldn't be there trespassing on it (after all, she did pretty much blackmail her sister into taking her with them). But then I googled it and the answer was much simpler (although i liked my explanation better...LOL) - basically she has a crush on her sister's boyfriend, which is why she called him in the first place and made her sister bring her along with them, but when she sees how into each other they are she gets upset.

Sebastian Bremont Espinoza I think it's kind of like you said but I think (not sure I'm right) she is in love with Ernesto. She used her sister's phone when she found it on the floor and his name has a heart next to it but if you notice it is not her own phone. What I think it happened is that she wanted hang out with the "cool" older kids to do the "cool" things they do but when she was able to do so she felt confused and out of place. She learned something that she wasn't able to understand before but she learned it in a uncomfortable way that just confused her and made her feel she had no control. Ageriana Spanfler - I just read about it so I can explain! This video is based on Romy (the singer whos a woman) and how she began questioning her sexuality. When she was about 13/14, she accidently skipped school. She hung out with her brother(s), and his/their girlfriends. Seeing them close like that made her think about relationships and she wondered if she may be even a bit gay because she noticed she liked girls more than boys. She became upset and attempted to repress her feelings, which is shown by her crying.
