Thanks for the comprehensive performance comparison!.. The only big factor to be considered is.. Himalayan barely has 2-3% speedo error while the Triumph 400s have a whopping 9-10% speedo error!!.. So until these are VBox tested figures, they dont really paint the real picture..
It’s all about how smooth the ride is between 80-110 because that’s the best cruising speed on highway irrespective the size of engine, durability matter, linear throttle response with tall gearing, I personally didn’t like how 451 looks it could’ve been so better looking, still rides well and is comfortable, like the fit and finish on triumph and is fun to ride, triumph may not be easy on your pockets on 16k service, moreover if you’re ride to remote places Himalayan is better easy to maintain, ❤️ triumph 🧠 Himalayan 😊

THANK YOU!! I was wondering why nobody does the 0 to 100 of himalayann. THis was a much awaited video for me...and what a detailed video. keep it up awsome channel
I am a speed 400 owner which has same engine as the scrambler but I can understand the RE 451 is far better in all kind of performance than the scrambler.
Just had a long test ride of both bikes …if we can ignore the tube rim ..Anyday I will go with Himalayan.., didn’t feel the punch and tourer feel in Triumph
Waiting for your review of newly launched Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 once it's officially available for test rides as I'm looking to upgrade from my KTM Duke 200 BS6! It's the best looking bike amongst the recently launched bikes for me! 🙌❤️🔥
Actually i think u got to redo scrambler acceleration test cause TC kicked in way too hard, if u launch it properly TC wont kick in and u might get 0.2-0.3 sec difference in 1st gear.
That probably shouldnt be TC year heard. This bike, on dry pavement doesn't have the power to spin up tires that much. Its probably just slipping the clutch to get the bike going. My T7 doesn't even spin the tire on dry pavement.
speed-accelaeration means nothing as obviously these 2 put out near identical hp figures. The difference is the weight & share size of the himalayan. 17 kg heavier the Himalayan which is huge. It's also longer-wider & taller than previous himalayan & you can see from your pics of bikes side by side the Himalayan is more like the size of a Aprilia Tuareg 660. For fast trails & long distance adventures maybe the himalayan will be better but round town-twisty mountain roads-difficult tight off road sections the Triumph all day will be better. I personally think they've made the Himalayan too big as it's gone from a lite middleweight to a middleweight size & in the process the weight saving from the new engine has being lost because the bike is so much bigger. Himalayan could have being so much better-also hasn't got tubeless rims on Himalayan. The styling on the himalayan falls flat for me. The triumph is retro & fits in with other scrambler model's perfectly. The tank looks massive on himalayan & side covers look tiny-. Non adjustable suspension on the Himalayan & I think he may struggle against the CF Moto450 MT, which has fully adjustable suspension-adjsutable screen-adjustable levers-bigger screen & a twin cylinder with 44 hp & about the same weight as HImalayan.
missed one thing in your test , start from 2nd and 3rd gear from idle engine on, then we will decide how it behaves in bumper to bumper traffic conditions
@@harshshrivastav7846Speedo indicated 160 kmph which has 15-16 km error..Plz see gps top speed test of scrambler in the channel named by real auto reviews
@@anmolkale16Both bikes tested by same gps speedometer (probably GoPro)..There was 15-16 kmph difference of top speed(himi 162 and scram around 146)..gps speedometer may have difference from true top speed..but testing by same gps speedometer reveals true difference of both bikes' top speed..
Himalayan owner here. Vibrations are there in each gear. More than the J series engine at the city speed. But I don't find them extremely uncomfortable. 110 -115 kmph is easy. Beyond that I didn't try because of the roads and traffic.

Himalayan has speedo error of 2-3 kmph whereas triumph has 10-15 kmph..you should test this by gps for both bikes.
Yes. Check with vbox.

Really
O el error es de GPS . En los autos también hay diferencias. No es algo que sea esencial ni de trascendencia. Las cosas importantes son otras .

Just a quick drag race can (3 round)can give us a good idea too.

🧠 Himalayan 😊
Some points are valid but "remote places" is where I would want the Scrambler with tubeless tyres yaar
Himalaya is known for unreliability and frame issues, I wouldn't ride it anywhere near remote places.
Então venha pra América aonde uma África ou Versys tem em qq lugar do Alasca ao Ushuaya

very nice way of comparing, especially showing the low end punch also. It would have been very good if you had used vbox or some gps speedo
Super exclusive content back to back. Kudos!
The scrambler 400x indeed is a surprise package. I would put my money for this baby Triumph
The roll on figures will actually improve with Vbox as it will be at a higher rpm for 400x, making it even better in the city
Wow class review .... very rare type acceleration test
Glad you liked it

Thank you so much for the words. Much appreciated :-)
Exactly. Was wondering about the same. These figures probably allows me to understand these bikes better' than a hundred videos.Thanks.
Because no body wants 0 to 100 in a adventure bike that also from Royal Enfield. Seems like Royal Enfield is now going for aggressive engines

Non sense by enfield for demanding 15000 extra for this color. Come on!
It's not the color. It's the tech, too.
@@bobjohnson1633 no man, it's just the colour
How much city mileage can we expect in both the bikes
Scram - City,Touring,Off road.
Himmy - Touring,Off road, city.
I'm beginning to think that the Scrambler's speed limit of 69 in 2nd gear and 96 in 3rd gear is not an accident 😂
Plz do drag race 😊
Very well done.. liked and shared.😊
Thank you! Cheers!
And what is the top speed in 6th gear?
Want in gear acceleration video of duke 390
nice review
How can you ride a new bike at that speed?
Mileage test please..
