    Yeah, my face can take quite a bit of punishment. When I had to shave everyday a lot of times I would just wet my beard with water and shave without using any shaving cream. It's kind of weird how some people can shave against the grain without irritation, but other people can't.

    if you look it up, there´s actually plenty of ways to extent the usage of the Mac3 blades. youtubers shows methods to make the blades last longer :) oh i tend to switch in between DE and multi-blades now and again

      Yeah, I've read those ways. I've been testing out a Harry's razor and the blade seems to be lasting longer than what I remember my Mach 3 lasting, but I can't remember if I ever really tested it and recorded the results like I did with a Harry's razor.

    Liked your video. I have noticed that when I rinse my mach 3 as many times as you did, the uppermost layer becomes sticky wet and it starts crumbling and gets stuck to face in some powdery form. Could you tell me why is it so?

    Try using a face scrub before shaving. I find that it makes for a smoother shave.

      I'll have to try that some time. Although, I'm kind of lazy and that would add an extra step to the process, lol.

      TeenShaving I believe I was using "The Art of Shaving" Sandalwood. Either that or Proraso.

    I'm currently using a Gillette sensor 3. I'm thinking of purchasing a Mach 3 or Mach 3 turbo which blades are the better?

    This guy has best skin and beard to shave, he does not even need to go against the grain, doesnot need to go second path, and all of this with trash razor like mach3, WHAT DA HELL

      I used to just slap water on my face and go against the grain. I'm not much of a morning person and that was the fastest way for me to shave. I do kind of wonder if using Gillette's sensitive shaving gel on my face for years messed up the nerves or something. I think a lot of it has to do with my beard being pretty scraggly.

    Gillette and most disposable razors, stretch a small portion of the skin each time you shave, so you don't have to stretch your skin using your hand.

      Force of habit I guess. Got used to doing it shaving with straight razors. However, I do find it did help me get a little better shave when I used them.

    Jesus Christ, you don't have to rinse every time you shave, you can take a few strokes before you rinse off the blade..
    Yea I know what you mean by shaving other parts, your toes...yea good idea

    • @ShaveWithThomas
      @ShaveWithThomas  10 років тому +4

      I find that when I take a few strokes between rinsing the dead skin and stubble tend to get stuck between the blades, which makes it harder to rinse out than if I just rinse it often.

      I was thinking the same, although it was because he was using the tap.
      Filling the sink with water would be less annoying.

    • @torguy5763
      @torguy5763 7 років тому +1

      terratec1001 You never want to fill the sink with water and dip the blade in, that's the worst thing you can do, the sink has so much bacteria and then you spread that on your face.
      Its better to rinse even though its a bit of a chore.

      Your sink might do. Our bathroom is cleaned daily.
