- I was lucky enough to hear about Don Knotts receiving his long overdue Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and was able to rush down there with a video camera and record the whole show. Even Thelma Lou (Betty Lynn) was there!
"Perfection!" There will never be another Don Knotts!
These guys were good clean fun. We got them in here New Zealand in the late 60's in black and white. That Andy Griffith them tune was one of the best in TV history.
Don Knots (July 21, 1924 - February 24, 2006) star on the Walk of Fame January 19, 2000. At 7083 Hollywood Blvd.
Don Knotts is one of the GREATEST EVER actors. he made Threes company it was a really tough act to follow after the couple ropers did it for years. NOT many people could have stepped in after it ran for years with the ropers. Don Knotts did GREAT! today is 10-30-21
"Lets call one another". Old people are so sweet.
Loved Don Knotts and Andy Griffith.
Still watching The Andy Griffith show from the 1960ies. Good clean fun !
I do to
Rest In Peace Andy Griffith And Don Knotts
He should have had a star in the 70s. He had done more than enough to earn it.
Golden video...all gone..
Hilarious laughter..beautiful memories

Yes it was

As good, or better than any comedy team in the pictures, every bit as good or
Better than Martin and Lewis, Abbott &Costello
Thelma Lou is a fictional character. She was not at this event.
Of course, only hard core Andy/Barney fans would recognize the name Betty Lynn. Everyone knows Thelma Lou.
@@DavidPerryTunes Write both names next time with the character's name in parentheses.
