In Australia if you block a fire truck the fire truck will just push you out of the way and you will have to pay for any damage aswell as loosing your licence for a minimum of 6 months. If you park in front of a fire hydrant your car can be confiscated and used for jaws of life training. In Australia emergency vehicles and workers have more authority than the police.
3:32 That driver needs to read the road code again. where it tells you, that you need to giveway to emergency services. There are big fines in some countries, when you don’t give way to them. That shows me that some people in the US, don’t read the road code, if they think they have right-of-way.
Everyone knows that emergency vehicles have the right of way. Everyone. That driver was just being a dipshit or was too timid to want to risk backing up.
@@ThomasKent1346 Not sure if I'm correct but in England I've been told before that if there's cars (manned or not) in the way of fire engines they have the right to force vehicles out of the way to make sure they can reach their destination to respond to emergencies, that's the way it should be atleast !
many yrs ago, I'm out for a summer evening cruise in my van, downtown(tourist town, a lot of pedestrians), main road has businesses on both sides, parking on right, angled, so rear end of car, is at street, left side, cars park parallel to sidewalk, the road that is left, is about 3 1/2 lanes wide, As i'm cruising down, about 20 mph, I see 2 teenage girls crossing street, in crosswalk, left to right, I stop, now had been driving vans for many yrs, know traffic can't see and will do dumb things, So I stop to let girls pass, meanwhile, watching my door mirrors in case someone behind me, decides to do something DUMB, ...sure enough, here comes a car, not slowing, around rt side of my van, BLINDLY, ILLEGALLY passing on the rt(I did not have a blinker on, stopped at a crosswalk), between me and the parked cars...now, at this point, girls rt in front of my van, in BAD blind spot to other driver, I tap on horn, get the girl's attn, Raise both hands up and yell the word "STOP!!" THE GIRLS LOOKED AT ME CONFUSED, BUT STOPPED....right in front, passenger side of my grill....just as car came whipping around my van...at which point the driver saw the girls...and had quite an "oh sh*t" look...the girls instinctually jumped back, then looked at me, and nodded "thank you"...potentially saved 2 teenage girls from getting run over...
doing wheelies in the snow. My mom used to take me to school parking lots on weekends or shopping centers on Sundays when we had snow to teach me how to handle skids in the snow by doing wheelies and straightening out of them. But then it wasn't a shopping center where there could be other cars. It was also way back when Blue laws were in effect and all stores where closed on Sundays. (anyone remember those days?) LOL
I used to do that back in 1970. Find an empty park lot and practice driving on snow and using brakes and steering wheel to learn the capabilities of myself and the car.
@@DonziGT230 You'd be right, if not for the dashcam in which the driver unsafely pulled out in front of the truck... or is it the unsafe loading of cement that is the argument?
@@PeteTheRock2002 Basically, the cement was an unsecured load just as with anything that falls out of a truck. Had they collided and that caused it to flow it would be probably be deemed the car's fault. It doesn't look like they hit, but even if they did, the cement had started flowing before the truck got close enough to possibly hit. If they did collide I expect that the car would be responsible for the impact damages and the truck for the cement damages.

He didn't know it was cement! Inside of his car for no apparent reason it's getting darker some alien force is covering his windows and can't see jack shit out off them what is going on,He can't even look left to see traffic approaching
should a cement truck not be able to brake "hard-ish" without spilling it all out ? Not that accidents happens of cause, but i still find it weird that "so little" brake-time can result in that much spillage.
Illegal turn. The camera car is already turning left from the side street and the silver SUV cut round in front where legally it could only turn right or go straight.
@@Mamamia-wy5sd Heard the camera car's horn and looked in his rear view mirror. He'd know that only one car can turn left at a time from that street so if he sees two turning at once it's obvious the one that goes to the right hand lane has done so illegally.

2:56 is quite awesome🤣👍
3:36 I mean he could have at least backed up if the fire truck had an emergency
The fire truck should have just pushed him to the side, every second should be and is vital !
Better yet: The fire truck could just pushed him out of the way! (That HAS happened, you know! Remeber. Fire trucks are bigger and heavier.)

Is it really called wheelies? Isn't a wheely when front lifts up, and usually applied to motorcycle riding?
The driver at the 2:40 mark cemented his stupidity.
He hasn't progressed beyond the concrete thinking stage.
