I'm telling you, as the owner of the CRT, NOTHING beats the eargasm of noise it produces, super throaty, super loud, it's hands down the most unique sound on the road, and personally IMO the best overall of all bikes. Now, idling at 105db and cruising speed of 115db, it is NOT an everyday exhaust system. I would much rather run the akropovic, or SC SCR1 exhaust as it's deeper, and quieter for an every day rider. I wasn't a believer in the Akra till I heard it in person. However, I've been told the SCR1 is all the glory of the CRT, but 5 dB quieter where it matters (every 2.5db can equate to half the perceived volume). If only it wasn't 1000$ to change a slip on 😅 every weekend/track warrior would absolutely get the CRT, short stints for hard riding it's amazing.

I used to think the same with the akra carbon. But trust me in person it sounds so good. I think the v4 is just really hard to catch on video if its a more quiet setup. The sc is just earrape loud and i think that makes up for it in videos.
As a current owner of a Akra pipe I can promise you that this is not true. In fact my rsv4 had a SC CR-T installed when I purchased it and I got rid of it because it was too loud and honestly took away from the enjoyment of riding imo. I put a Graves slip in its place but that pipe I didnt really care for either so about a month ago I found someone on the marketplace that was willing to trade me his Akra for my SC and it’s the best sounding of them all imo. It’s not quiet but also not ear bleeding loud and puts out the best exhaust note but again it’s all just personal preference and opinion

If I didn't have neighbors I would get something loud. I think akra is best option for the street.
Same but on an RSV4. I had a trumpet exhaust on my GSXR1k and it was too much. Akra is just right.

1. SC Project and Leo Vince
2. Arrow and Austin Racing
3. Either Akra, both sound okay
4. Stock obviously

The SC and Arrow are barely "exhausts." They're basically straight pipes. I don't see the point in paying much for that.
I totally get what you are saying. But I think some kind of flow and sound engineering takes place.
You're losing weight taking off the stock exhaust and increasing horsepower, I would buy, I don't care about the price, I ain't cheap
