The kid was top of the world in the biggest market (USA) he did a Toronto Show but the Philly show was his first stateside as a Superstar and he didn’t disappoint. There’s a video of the full concert on UA-cam. It’s worth a watch. The boys were loaded and had a blast. Even Noel went to his knees and did a Pete Townsend jokingly with LG rolling on the floor laughing. Great show. His voice blew the lid off the joint.
Not just back then mate, I was at a show three days ago in melbourne (obviously just LG) and when this song came on (third in the set) the crowd went wild. There’s something about the songwriting in these tunes and Liam’s stage presence that moves you in a way you can’t describe and few others have ever been able to achieve. I’ve seen huge bands like roger waters, black sabbath, soundgarden, smashing pumpkins, megadeth and judas priest live but none of them can do to a crowd what liam’s performance and noel’s songs do.
The fact that there is probably HD footage of the whole concert and no one can see it is furiating. Morning Glory and Champagne Supernova will do until it gets released.
