got the habit of hitting Like before the video starts. I know is gonna be amazing, and I am never deceived. Great job Jamie, love it, love it , best teacher for me. 👍🎷
Jamie, I discovered your videos last week, and have watched quite a few. You are a tremendous teacher - (this comes from a teacher...) and I can not believe you are giving away this much info, this well put together - for free ( I watched video on making videos as well) .. This is incredibly generous of you - and I will buy you a few coffees in a few minutes. Thank you!
Omg I was just thinking about this yesterday when learning a new piece . Being a trombonist for 30 years was wondering How different it is playing sax, now I know cheers jay excellent work
Hey Jamie! Another great video this week. Learning jazz with Coltrane... man it couldn’t be better... I always remember one of your tips... to play jazz learn all this techniques and rules and then... forget them.... every time I think about it, it makes much more sense. One thing is listening to jazz and other thing is being a performer. To sound convincing you can’t play “by the book”. It just have to come out naturally... by the way, you should have kept your lab coat on... now doing “forensic” analysis... hahaha. As always, thanks for your time and efforts. Much appreciated! And... 10.000+ subscribers... congrats!
< From the neck back into the source that´s where "Soul" lives. The horn is just a tube with holes and too many moving parts... Great Insights !¡! Thanks
Sorry about that Richie. Occasionally people have a weird VPN, or some sort of filter that stops them getting access like everyone else. Drop me an email instead and I'll sort you out.. info@getyoursaxtogether.com

Thanks Jamie, that’s really interesting and well explained. Taught me a lot - just like so many of your videos.
My pleasure Paul!
You have such a great sound.
Thanks man. I've got a whole course coming out this year called Total Tone Mastery, so watch out for that!

Interesting Mike, thanks for that!
Great one, thanks for that, very informative. Have you thought about making a Video like this about some effects like split tones and so on?
split tones, like multi phonics? Yeh, I might do that!
Sei troppo forte.
:-)
To my ear Coltrane makes the triplets really swing by playing the A slightly late and emphasizing it both rhythm-wise and articulation-wise?
yeh, I guess the rhythm and articulation totally work hand in hand thinking about it!
🤩😃👌🏻
Cheers Josef!
How can i get a tshirt just like what you wearing?
I'm working on my merch. Watch this space.
Hi, Jamie, I have tried several times to download your masterclass, not getting any link back
