Right? I love how she said "he got her pregnant" with such confidence even though Mimir's just a reanimated head that's missing a key part for that to happen lmao
I shed a tear at " A God Of War......A God Of Pain " After all the events we've seen in the past, this dialogue gave me chills. What an amazing voice acting
Actually they found the real Tyr in a hidden prison after de ending of the game, but it was a side quest, that’s why you girls didn’t know about it, you only saw the cutscenes of the main quest. After that you could find Tyr meditating in different places of the open world.
I think making that part of the game a side quest was a very dumb decision on the devs side. Say you're one of those players that just plays for the main quest and God of War 3 comes around, you're going to be bloody confused on why Tyr is there.
Yeah it's pissing me off, they watched the first games entirely and do not remember the sword Kratos used to kill Zeus and himself, and it also was used to destroy the Titans, it was well explained, and Kratos used it for at least an entire game but well, they don't care or don't listen to the game at all
@@bastiendamour1617 I think someone said in a previous video that most of the reaction videos you see or they upload was already recorded on patreon and they just put it on UA-cam so they mostly missed out on a lot of info and it just chose to ignore the info on the comments so yeah we tried and if they move on and then they move on now if they still act like they don't know anything even though we have tried to help them out in a refuse to listen and they still say the same thing like what does that mean or where did that come from they're on their own because I have tried to give them a full video of beginning to the end to all the way to God of war Ascension all the way to God of war Ragnarok and they refused to acknowledge that so just leave it be If they don't know anything or they forgot something just let it be as long as they don't try to act like they know everything then we're okay If they act like they know everything then that's when we get very offended
Fun Fact: The foreign weapons Týr uses are all from the lands that were were he traveled to and might hint where the God Of War franchise could be set in the next saga. 1st weapon is called a Macuahuitl. It’s an ancient Aztec club shaped almost like a cricket bat that is lined with shards of obsidian aka volcanic glass. The edges of the shards are the sharpest blades in all of human history, even modern day scalpels aren’t as sharp. 2nd weapon is a Kopesh. Which is an Egyptian sword. And the final one is a Samurai Katana. So Feudal Japan, Ancient Egypt and the Aztec Empire could be possible future settings.
You can continue with Vahalla and hear the rest of story from Kratos, about his 1st wife, Lysandra, his daughter, Calliope, Mimir's personal journey about his past and Sigrun, Sigrun's own personal story (which leads to a cutscene), and Eir and Gunnr's past (If you want to contouie it, there's entire videos just for those induvial stories.) They pack A LOT in this VERY FREE DLC, we did not deserve this from Santa Monica Studios, I would've paid money for this, easily.
Just like when Atreus took Odins soul, he was holding him like he thought he was holding Kratos from the prophecy shrine... When Kratos walks out of Valhalla at the end, he in the pose his new prophecy shrine shows at the end of Ragnarok!!
Helios is voiced by Crispin Freeman, he is known for his iconic roles such as alucard from Hellsing, Itachi Uchiha from Naruto, Winston from overwatch, red arrow from young justice etc
Imagine having headphones, subtitles, and the knowledge that mimir hasn't been able to be with sigrun in over a century and still thinking that somehow he got her pregnant. What???
Valhalla did what I thought was impossible and actually made me care about Young Kratos. I always thought of him as a bloodthirsty brute, a monster obsessed with revenge, and addicted to rage. But as Týr showed Kratos visions of his past in Greece along with more insightful context I started to see who Kratos really was. Not merely a bloodthirsty brute, but also a proud Spartan who wanted to protect his homeland. A man who wanted to be a good husband and a loving father. Not just a monster, but a man. As Old Kratos perfectly said to his younger self “You have always been more than what others saw”. And now he sits on the throne with a sense of enlightenment and purpose. Not just a God Of War, but (as the trophy you get when you finish Valhalla calls him) as a God Of Hope.
Wasn't what Tyr said obvious tho? Like they show that the old God of war games is about revenge after they mess with him first, and that he was a proud Spartan leader
@thedarkknight2221 Kratos did horrible things, and a lot of them were not justifiable. Nobody can deny that. But this DlC is not about that. It is about remaining people Kratos was more than just a monster and that he was always a more complicated person, more deep than other gave him credit for. Like Tyr said goodness it's not a destination, but a practice.
guys idk whether you realized it in the game or not but that sword is the Blade of Olympus which Kratos used it to kill Zeus. It was actually a pretty important weapon back in the old games.
Don't worry ladies! You chose a good one. The video you're watching from shows some gameplay as well as the conversations in between cutscenes. A lot of the story is developed there. I loved watching you ladies reaction to this series! It was an amazing journey!!

1:13:49 I don't know if they were shown on the channel, but the boat captain is actually featured in maybe every GOW game at different points, even in Hades.
The weapons used by Tyr: A greek set of spear and shield. A pair of egyptian kopesh-swords. An aztec macuhatl, in addition to aztec blood-magic. And of course, a japanese katana.
Which is understandable, I can definitely relate cause well let's say I've acted and done things that I've regretted when I was younger, I'm only 23 but 10 11 years ago, I still can't forgive myself for being a stupid person back then
Kratos is pale cause he's covered by the ashes of his dead wife and daughter as punishment, I love how the lighting when he sits on the throne at the end makes it look like the ashes are gone, and his skin is back to normal as if he was being punished by his own conscience

Tyr's mural in his temple depicts him exploring other lands and sharing knowledge. When Kratos fights Tyr, the weapons he used were the obsidian club from the Aztecs, curved blades from Egypt, and a katana from Japan. It was cool to see Tyr take up his spear again, and every fight he put on more and more of his old armor.

The history of Kratos taking Helios chariot to the sky, and the history of his brother are in another two games (Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta), both occur before God of War 2
37:52 that is the real tyr. Tyr was alive the entire time he was just helped captive Odin kept him alive just to remain in the form. After kratos and Freya freed him he scoured the realms and found peace The war was already over by the time he was free He's not dead but it is hinted that he has already died and he is able to go to Valhalla by choice
Valhalla DLC was a therapy not only for Kratos but or the people who can't go better because of the past that they can accept I mean for us to be a better person we need to accept what happened to our past and let that be our guide to face the future. "Each choice we make, shapes our world" as Tyr said, meaning our own decision will be our guide if it is good or bad but along that way there's a lesson to be better ❤❤❤

This is probably the best DLC I've played since Mass Effect's Citadel. And it's amazing because God of War just doesn't do this, let alone for free! I would have happily paid for it
I've been waiting for this one let's go!
This DLC is a love letter for the GOW fans, I'm so happy and for me this is the best DLC so far. There also a therapy session for Mimir and here's the full story of it ua-cam.com/video/ul0T71d1lMA/v-deo.htmlsi=4dZSD3T9sH0BokB2
I also hope that in your next watch of game cutscenes, you'll choose A Plague Tale Innocence and A Plague Tale Requiem ua-cam.com/video/6dKpbqNwwNQ/v-deo.htmlsi=zA_9ElOB_TxyILqa
