@@jarrellmason9080 No bout a doubt it my friend. I also forgot to mention another great RB for the Raiders who played right along side of Bo. "Marcus Allen"
This man single handedly changed the game to the point where the left tackle is one of the 3 most important and highest paid positions in the game. Protecting the QB's blind side became a thing because of LT.
Protecting a qb's blind side with your best linemen was a thing LONG before LT became the greatest linebacker and PROBABLY the greatest DEFENSIVE PLAYER of all time--- those linemen was ALWAYS considered extremely important on any winning team
Same. The game was much more fun to watch back then. I still watch the game but LT is right..they just don't hit each other anymore. Football in the 80's and early 90's was fantastic.
From listening to LT I believe he was a football prodigy. He read the offense and understood the opposing offense as if it was a comic book. He was seeing what all could happen before it did. He was a football genius but we never give him that credit.
They read ur mind by that? Many think hes the goat. Not like u think Ron Gant is the goat n they said that. Bet many think Tom Brady is the goat, that's not a surprise.
Man LT was the first athlete I became a fan of. I grew up in NYC so the giants were always playing on Sunday. Dope to see the GOAT still healthy and happy.
That would be great if they got Mike, just think about it, the G.O.A.T of Basketball(Michael Jordan) and Football(Lawrence Taylor), both went to North Carolina college, both first love was baseball
I like when people get their opportunity to shine a bit. Unless you're connected to what a retired guy is doing... you have no clue "what happened" to them. You guys kinda honored this mans legacy, you got him laughing and smiling and remembering things. Sometimes he was either lost in thought or in memory lane, and then would bounce back. I appreciate hearing from legends while we got em! I watched football every Sunday growing up! LT was a meance and he was great in Any Given Sunday! Thanks for another episode of good conversation and fellowship! Appreciate you gentlemen
So proud of Matt and Jack man!!! Been a fan of them since their days in the league, so it’s great to see their transition. Neither one of them could have foreseen this 10 years ago, I guarantee it
An "absolute legend"!!! LT is a football GOD and not just a football legend. I grew up watching him change the game of football at the highest level from a football stand point. The greatest defensive football player if all times!
That interview was one of the best interviews I’ve ever seen of LT. Thank you for bringing him to this platform. I’m listening to him. Talk about the good old days was definitely a trip down memory lane. I am a Dallas cowboy fan. This man is the greatest defensive player of all time.💯💯
GOAT. Coaches had to scheme against this man on a weekly basis and he did it when defenses could really get after guys. He changed how defense is played and is on the Mount Rushmore of defensive players.
Barnes and Jack if you guys have LT on All The Smoke, you guys got to have Parcells and Belichick on the show. Love the past couple episode with Dominique, and LT.
LT put the fear of God into everyone he faced. As an 🦅 fan all my life, there were several sleepless weeks preparing for the Giants & Sundays where he terrorized us!!!!
I got so so many one on one experiences with LT being born and raised in Jersey , and being a diehard fan of that Giants Era , I actually saw him and got to talk to him a few months ago
I have so many great memories of LT. The strip sack that Andy Headen took back 90 yards for a tD against the Cowboys, the fumble recovery against the Niners in the NFC Championship game, getting 9 sacks in three games against the Skins in '86. But when he went back in a pre-season game against the Browns, I knew he would lead the Giants to a Super Bowl. Great, great player. By the way, I believe he is talking about Bubba Paris and Lomas Brown.
Sooo much respect for all the smoke. Me having grown up with a bad stutter, not saying ET has one but he's not one to have a "TV voice" or speak and get his thoughts out quickly. I respect them 1000% for letting him get his stories out and engage him so well. Super interview. Content creators should note this when interviewing ppl.
It's my favorite play to watch id show that play to my defense every week an tell the way to win the game is to destroy the QB give me this guy an David decon Jones on my defense an you can make the other 9 guys plumbers an carpenters an we still win
OMG !!!!!LT NFL DEFENSIVE LEGEND THIS INTERVIEW Is GOLD , HE WAS BEFORE MY TIME BUT GOTDAMN I STUDIED THIS MAN MENTALITY THANK YALL FOR BRINGING LAWRENCE TAYLOR ❤
He redefined the outside LB position...no one was doing what he was doing before he came into the league at that position...the speed and power was incredible...
The Greatest to ever do it. NFL in the 80 s was epic. LT, Jerry Rice, Deion, Montana, B. Sanders, Marino, Elway and many more legends. My favorite decade in the nfl.
Yep that's what I fell in love with football and in the early 90's with basketball & baseball! Good times
Barry sanders was drafted in 89. Tough to call him an 80s player.
