I have installed AMARON (Pro Rider) Dry cell Battery in my Bajaj Avenger 220cc.
Bajaj Avenger 220cc dtsi (2015 model) requires 9Ah and 12 V of Battery.

Bro I bought Avenger150 2016 model (2nd hand in 2019).. with pre-installed Exide 12v 4amp ..now I'm facing starting issue and want to change the battery .. would you suggest me for which I go (Exide or amron ) or konsa size khridna h battery k liye 5ah,7ah or 9ah

The avenger battery compartment is badly designed. Almost impossible to remove or install the battery without forcing it with a screwdriver.

am facing battery issues and i hv to change the battery.after jst 7 mnths of using
akash santra I used the previous battery for 2.5 years and 60,000Kms. I had no issue.
The battery you had, might have been idle for decades and that's why it was dead immediately you bought it. Unnecessary usage of battery also may be a reason. Nothing to worry, just change it.
Only exide batteries can fit in this compartment smoothly.
Brand doesn't matter bro.....

Most useless battery space provided can be found on bajaj avenger.
What kind of a stupid design flaw this battery holder have.....is quit hard to replace it. After you have done the work.....you have to put your hand on ice to relieve from pain. If quiet frustrating. Wtf !!

I have done it very smoothly without having any issue...and also all the batteries made are in same size to fit perfectly in the compartment! If off the size, the batrery will not fit!
I too experienced while removing the battery as the top right side of the battery compartment was a bit lower and made the whole process time consuming. The battery service guy, managed to insert the new one with the help of screw driver to lift that portion. I think it's a design flaw of battery compartment in Avenger 220 Cruise.
But anyway happy that my stock battery lasted for almost 5 years. 😊 Replaced it with Amaron 2 days before only.
I am also struggling to remove the battery from compartment, frustrated now 🙃
I also changd ma bttry of ma avenger ystrday....i can hardly rembr dat if d battry symbol appears after startng of engine,den it indicts to change d battry within 15 days....z it.?..i came 2 knw wen i got d byk 7yrs back 4m bajaj guyz...bt dis tym it dint show me d symbol...
When we insert the key and switch on, the battery symbol indicates on the tank, but when we start the ignition the symbol should disappear !
If any case you see the battery symbol on after the ignition is on, then the battery needs to be checked and replaced.

@@gobindbehera2698 Good question, at 1st thats not only a bike for me, thats my family member, My "Senorita" hence I am never gonna change her.
Well about the spark plug, personally I did not feel any major difference. But I feel the vibration has gone down because of the special spark plug. You can change into R6 if you wish to. There is no harm in that.
