4:05 one thing that has ALWAYS stopped my hiccups is drinking water as slowly as possible or pretending to if I don’t have water (as in swallowing my saliva) another thing I heard about but haven’t tried is literally gaslighting yourself into thinking you don’t have hiccups 🗿
As an addition to the lights causing sneezing thing being so people sneeze outside of their homes to not spread disease, migraines are thought to do the opposite. Some people get migraines due to low atmospheric pressure (before it rains) and there's a theory this is because people tend to look for dark, quiet places when they have migraines, so it was an evolutionary advantage for seeking shelter when a storm was coming.
Hiccups might, like its a theory, be our body trying to breathe out of our gills. Closing the breathing tube and trying to inhale out of our gills is like the most human body thing that exists lol. Our body is so fucked up lol
