People already view art careers as such a negative thing And now with this AI nonsense big tech companies think they can just walk all over us 😡😡 The disrespect towards artists needs to stop. Be the change you want to see, raise it as an issue at the university that the creative courses (at the very least) need to discuss. Print out fliers on the university printers and leave them in lecture halls or art studios that the art and animation courses use. You don't have to become a full time activist but there are little things you can do to help spread awareness. University is the time to be rebellious.

It’s very disheartening to hear that the government isn’t thinking about the already assisting artists and doesn’t care about the young people coming up through their messed up education System and who will be wanting these jobs as artists. I didn’t know that the government was having these talk’s until today, so thank you for making this video💗

I have already put in my two cents to their email a good while back when this first was proposed - I doubt anyone will really care, but fuck, it wouldn't feel right /not/ saying anything. Stuff like this just shows more and more how AI companies think they can completely disregard creatives rights. I and anyone else who creates their own work should have full ability to say 'hey, don't touch this' - and have full legal ability to back that up and take down anyone using it maliciously. Fuck all these sites who steal peoples art, resell it, edit it without permission, whatever - Just because its a huge company with money and claiming they're doing it for benefiting science and whatever shouldn't mean they get to bypass such things. It's just basic human respect.
This is an absolute travesty. How can they do this to us after cutting funding to the arts in the UK and pushing us to pursue 'real careers'?
