Damn man, i have strugling with this too... but in slightly diffrent bike, i have Suzuki GSR 600 from 2008 year... and that ticking noise is similar, actually pretty much the same. And it slowly fade away, after 2-3 minutes after start up, when the bike gets warmed up to around 50 celcius degrees. Form what iv'e been read, and i was searching a lot about this ticking noise, cause it ain't stop bothering me, it seems like it's sound of fuel injector. But this noise is awfull and i have like an paranoia about it, that there is something wrong with my bike...
