wow, u just explained my life. when i was 12 nirvana was the first band i ever got into and if wasnt for them i wouldnt care for music. im still only 14
Woow my favorite band broke up :( Best performance of this song, lame ass crowd I'd be goin' nuts.. Daniel as amazing as ever, hope his solo / more dissociatives songs will be good because I like every SC song including Young Modern!
I second that. Every album topped the one the before up to diorama which was utterly amazing. Young modern just doesn't really do anything for me. Maybe someone out there loves it though, so whatever. As long as silver chair is loving what they are doing that is what matters. I'm all for evolution, this last one just isn't in favor of my taste.
I entirely disagree. I find it funny honestly that people can't accept a change in a band that started when they were like 14-15 years old, and has since grown up. You like the stuff they wrote and composed at an early age, but what if they don't want to write or compose like that anymore? That's what Neon Ballroom, Diorama, and Young Modern have been all about -- THAT is where the clear shift begins into doing what they want and not the fans -- which is the opposite of selling out, so be GLAD!!
lol completely different rhythem and styles, i mean i was a big nirvana fan, every 13 year old is, its the first band you get into, nirvana were more punk more than anything, i aint dissing but dan has a hell of alot more knowledge and creativaty on the guitar whilst kurt could put a shit load of imagery in his lyrics - their completely different but equally great
There's probably nothing more distracting than sweat dripping in your eye. I'm guessing the headband represents the shift in adult life when you start choosing practical over fashionable. Terrible look though. Just giving this album a try. I loved elements of every album, particularly Diorama. I look forward to making up my mind
Miss you Silverchair...best band ever
THIS SONG IS AWESOME

dusseldorf
I see we agree. I'm hoping that if I'm really really good, I'll die and come back as his guitar. It's definately better than a damn brahman...
I agree. There are a lot of better songs on Freak Show but you're never gonna hear 'em live again.
Daniel obviously has a fetish for headbands

Looks like they,ve lost their love for heavy guitar...sounds so weak here
