2:16 In Italy's defense, one of their largest problems was that their commanders were borderline incompetent, often promoted to their positions based on party loyalty, bribery, nepotism, etc. instead of ability. Rommel himself actually complemented the average Italian soldier, saying that they were good fighters and tended to be brave, while simultaneously calling their commanders idiots.

The other reason he lost in North Africa was the fact the British cracked the enigma code and would sabotage some of their shipments. They didn’t destroy all of them because they didn’t want the Germans to figure this out. They sabotaged shipments mostly from the Italian peninsula to make it look like someone in Italy was helping the Allies. This created even more distrust between the Germans and Italians.

@@nocapdribblezz6183 Stalin was Hitler's only opponent in Europe. In 1938, a non-aggression and friendship pact was signed between Great Britain and Germany. In the same year, the Munich Agreement was signed between Great Britain and Germany, in which Great Britain allowed Germany to seize part of Czechoslovakia. In the 1935 Naval Pact, Britain allowed Germany to take back its navy. We should also not forget about the "pact of four" in 1933 between Germany, Italy, Great Britain and France. These countries wanted to subjugate the whole of Europe to their hegemony. If you're a Westerner, I wouldn't be surprised if you're hearing all this for the first time...

The fact that Germany was only a nation of 80 million (including Austria and Bohemia/Moravia) against the USSR (194 Million), USA (132 million) and Great Britain (44.7 million) Germany was horrendously outnumbered. Doesn't help them either that the main Allies were all world spanning super states while Germany was restricted in Central Europe. The Allies also had the advantage of defending all the resources Germany desperately needed to conquer just to sustain the war.

You could write a whole book about all the reasons he lost the war. Part of it was the same reason the Confederacy lost the Civil War - lack of fuel, lack of metal, lack of food, and lack of men. Then he fought a war on four fronts. Then he underestimated the strength of the British, Soviets, and the USA. Then there was his invasion of Russia, which is because of a mistake he made as a boy - he played hooky on the day his teacher discussed Napoleon.

The UK, France, Russia, Italy, and Austria were continuously bombed throughout the war, with industrial centers being of particular interest for strategic bombings. This caused all major powers to continuously lose production capacity while the USA never had this concern and could focus solely on production and not rebuilding.

Attacking the USSR and starting the war were not Hitler's mistakes. These were decisions he was forced to make due to lack of oil and food supplies. If in 1941 Germany had waited another year as it was, it would have lost all its oil and food, leading to its economic disaster. Operation "fall Barbarossa" had to be carried out in order to reach new resources. Therefore, the main targets of the Wehrmacht were Stalingrad and Baku. Stalingrad ensured control of the northern Kakuaz region, which would allow the Wehrmacht to concentrate troops in the southern Kakuaz to capture Baku.
In this sense, Stalingrad was not a mistake either, but a decision guided by problems in Germany's resources. It gave the Wehrmacht time for further conquest, the Volga held back the main Soviet resources, which hampered their industry.

Germany invaded because it was becoming quite clear that the Allied powers were funding Soviet's army into a massive offensive force to take advantage of the weakened countries due to the prolonged war that Churchill the warmonger wanted so badly.
Germans stationed at East Prussia could clearly see a massive force of Red Army soldiers amassing at the border in preparations for their invasion of Germany and Western Europe. The allied powers knew the full extent of Soviet Union's intention to invade and conquer the weakened Western European states and it was coming (if as Stalin had hoped) as Germany invaded Britain or not, either way they were going to invade Germany. You really oughta listen to his speeches, you would understand why he invaded Soviet Union and sent peace offers to Britain beforehand to end their unnecessary war and stand with Germany against the Soviet menace, and not some propagandist piece on UA-cam who gets his information from the already questionable history told by the victors of WWII.

@@eliasl332 "I don't have the time for that..." you're too important to tell the truth? Gotcha!
One UA-cam channel - genius truth sayer
This UA-cam channel - manipulative sociopath
Thanks for clearing all of that up! You've been so helpful!
Pro tip - if you truly want to help society CREATE something, don't just sit back and say "You're doing it wrong!" Otherwise, your credibility is nil.
      Cheers!

Not invading Britain and then invading the USSR were his major mistakes. The yanks joining in (late as always as well as taking all the credit) was just the icing on the cake.

He couldnt invade Britain without air cocer. Hitler's mistake there was bombing London instead of airfields.

Even if he had won, it never could have lasted. Chuck Norris was born in 1940, and he built the hospital he was born in.
