I have a B14r with the carbon fiber barrel that I love. I bought it in May 2021. I now have nearly 8k rounds through it. I bought the carbon fiber version because I found a smoking hot deal on it at the time and the steel barrel versions were out of stock. I've found that the CF helps the barrel cool and my groups stay a consistent size even after 50+ rounds fired over just a few minutes. My 50-yard accuracy results with CCI Standard Velocity are about the same as yours. At 100 yards, I'm lucky to get a 1.5-inch group with most in the 1.75 to 2.25-inch range. As a result, I did some extensive ammo testing at 50, 100 and 200 yards. In my B14r, using an average of five, 5-round groups, I had the following overall results (best to worst): 1. SK Long Range Match 2. Lapua Long Range 3. Lapua Center-X 4. SK Rifle Match 5. CCI Standard Velocity 6. Any Eley Ammo The top 3 all produced just under 1 MOA averages for the five, 5-round groups with the SK Long Range Match being both the most consistent and accurate overall. It seems to hate all four of the Eley ammo brands I tried including Tenex. YMMV.
Yeah I pretty much center it. I think as long as I use center every single time for every measurement then I will always be the same versus using top-of-the-line for one measurement and using center for another measurement and then bottom of the line for another you will have varying results.
I measured the distance needed and bought a cheap arca rail off of Amazon for like camera mounts. Then drilled and tapped my rifle stock for a 8-32 screw. It’s the same size as the sling studs. I made sure I was deep enough to hit the aluminum inside the rifle stock.
It'll be highly appreciative from your community if you can make a second Channel maybe off-site from UA-cam so you can show us actually what you're doing adjusting the screws on the rifle stock. I myself know what you're doing, but I'm sure there's other people there are not familiar with lightweight Gunsmithing. UA-cam has becoming too much of a dictatorship of free speech and 2A education it is becoming ridiculous. I know we all have to make money from our time and effort, very understandable, but if you can make a link on the parts you cut out that'll be fantastic.
I am starting a rumble account that hopefully will be able to instruct better. I just need to make more time for it. I will link it in my comments and hint to it in my videos once I have established it better.
30 inch lbs is more than adequate my axis 270 is only 35 inch lbs from factory 30 is a lot if you consider your scope rings are only 20 or 25 acording to what size screws your rings use make a second short video or a short showing you torque the screws and that way you will still be monotized on this video but not the short
Thanks for the info! I am starting a Rumble account where I hopefully will be able to send my viewers to view stuff not suitable for UA-cam. I will be sure to link it in the comments and mention it on my videos once I get it running.
It's always the little things isn't it. Great content!

Thanks for the video. Congrats on 1000+ subs, keep up the good work. Glad to see that rifle shooting so good for you!
Thanks!
Very insightful-I simply always hand-tightened them whenever loose-now I will have to experiment a bit.
Thanks!
When using the wheeler fat wrench do you line center of red line up to lb torque or the top of red line or what ?

What arca rail did you use and did you mount it yourself?
