But I read that a sponsor such as spouse should.not do.gift deed..its usually not seen as part of proof of.fund but as a gift

Personally, I would even prefer your sponsor keeps the money so he/she has enough in their account.
I honestly think gift of deed is better from someone who’s not sponsoring you so it’s like extra money. I don’t know if I’m explaining it well.

Hmmmm... I learnt a lot. My husband wants to be my sponsor, and I've been scared on how to go about the POF. If we choose the gift deed method, will the momey stay in his account or it needs to be sent to mine? Keep is the good work.

Gift deed means he is gifting you the money so it will be sent to you but make sure you back it up with all the necessary documentations
