Used to love flying this on Kaleidoscope. I’d pop over the edge of the skyscrapers while shifting the engines over to hover after climbing straight up. Had a few friends on the guns, and every time the poor infantry camping on top would do a sort of double-take as this gigantic transport just appears in front of them and darts around them, guns blazing! Definitely my favourite thing to fly while I was playing!
A coordinated squad flying this beast is either super fun to play with or a huge pain in the ass. Only way to kill it is to have a full squad lock and fire when the condor flares or piloting error.
Oh man the memories. Used to do this back in the day with my friends. Spent year and a half perfecting piloting and working with my squad. This could absolutely dominate and stay alive for soooo long. Also loved when I played solo and would transport and save random teammates. Good shit. These games are so much more fun in when you're a team player.
Battlefields helicopter mechanics have always been so smooth. I remember locking down maps in BF3 with those little black birds. Stable enough to take out ground troops and quick enough to out-maneuver repair crew helicopters.
Never played Battlefield 2042, but I know the feeling. This is what it feels like when you find a good Liberator pilot or MBT/Harasser driver in Planetside 2.

I feel Battlefield always failed in giving people the actual tools to organise spontaneous real teamplay like that. In Tribes 2 it was just a voice command: "Transport ready! Need a ride?" met by a bunch of responses: "I need a ride!" "I'm attacking the enemy base". The guys responding they needed a ride automatically got a marker for your transport. My buddies and I recently got back into this game and we have been having a blast. I love BF s much. Flying the condors is one of my favorite things to do especially if I have a good crew.
BF is at its best when you just find a random squad who all get it and you just click. Genuinely renews my faith in humanity…whilst we kill scores of digital people together. Sadly doesn't seem to happen as much as it used to back in BC2, BF3 days.
Ik what you mean on bf4 on Paracel Storm (Sry if I spelled that wrong) I join some random squad and got into the attack book we had destroyed the enemy team with communication the same with Golmud railway same squad but in T90's we took turns being in driver and gunner it was so satisfying taking down the 2 pros in the attack heli
Man I miss the days I did BF2 running heli transport for squads between objectives. I loved the smaller ones that could fit in tunnels but the big ones with the right doormen could plough the field. My neatest trick was to cut engine power and piledrive until the last second and just sink in, drop off and circle. I ran with a solid squad for a while with designated roles, at first most bailed fearing crash but they came to trust my unhinged, near death rollecoaster rides.
Ah, reminds me of the good old days in Bad Company 2, I'd pilot the blackhawk with my friends in the gunner and the 2 cargo seats. One repairing, the other launching hell with c4 or rockets while the mini gun shreds. And no one knew how to fight us because everyone hated that helicopter and no one used it because "it's too slow"
You always have a blast in a competitive server, but being a littlebird pilot through and through I love running clean up and side escort to the condors, but back in BF3 days I was the building flying type lol love that tiny helicopter
I miss the blackhawks from BF2 man. I used to play with my squad and RP as special forces taking their backline with 4 people on the ground and 1 gunner just circling around the capture point. good times
Once I've made like 140 assists as a pilot of condor + dozen of taken objectives. Unfortuantely you still don't get rewarded well enough for such a huge accomplishment. For example if you get loads of taken objectives but not too many kills, you and your crew get exact amount of objectives taken, you end up with 4 people with top 1 objectives taken and you often don't even get a mention, I think as a driver/pilot you should get extra 0.5 objective taken extra points from each passenger. Oh and if enemy has TOR tank, then there's no point flying transport at all.
When I see a hind or condor ready for joining, I set my specialist to Crawford before joining that squad so that I can perform quick fixes. Gives them more airtime to accomplish the objectives.
I play on Xbox one at the moment but I had an awesome experience with a guy/PC cross-play, Wednesday 15th June 2022, we went the entire game with him as pilot with super fly skills, me on guns, finishing in 1st and 2nd place, his tag: robyiskky, shout out to him, but also those who need more practice remember your gunners and their perspective view 😃😎👍
Im a transport heli pilot, and my friend is first gunner - we have designed seats, well coordination and effectif tactics. We demolishe the enemy team almost everytime, until they get fed up and everyone start launching rockets 😂
The one thing that too many pilots do is think they can fly low in the condor or the hind, and shake a tail... this vehicle requires altitude to bring the guns to bear on the enemy aircraft... that or fly upside down. What ever it takes to bring the belly of the transport facing the enemy.
This brings me back to the days of playing BF2 on PC on DICE servers with my account PlaneWhore. I think my best game was 64/3. Amazing what a Thrustmaster FCS could do against mouse and keyboard players.
In Battlefield 2142 in the mid 2ks, me and my brother and a coworker working together could completely dominate maps with a flying transport. When it was obvious we were owning with it, people would spawn in it constantly and parachute out of it, so we were also constantly delivering new troops to whatever front point needed to be capped as we just hopped around between them, repairing on the way.. Idk what it's like these days as I haven't played a Battlefield game in a decade, and I didn't like the last one I played much (4), but back in the day there were a million hilarious and fun ways you could totally dominate entire maps and win games just by having 3-4 regular friends coordinating in a squad, with everyone else on the server on both teams seemingly random uncoordinated singles. You could do anything from behind lines saboteurs, to a tank with support crew, even just running around in a jeep and having the recon get out to scope a cap spot before the rest of the team moves in and being able to tell them were enemies are they can't see yet, etc etc. Those were fun times. I see no point in playing with randos, especially when you don't even have consistent servers to join.
The Condor and Super Hind can be the most deadly thing on the Battlefield if properly crewed. I have not had such luck with randoms but when me and my friend are in the air. Our strafe runs are deadly, and our close air support is pretty on point. It is nice when a random engineer does commit to the bird and stays for repairs. I have had bad luck with randoms though. One game, the team was spawning in, firing the main gun maybe once and then bail moments later. Almost had an aneurism because a random was on the main gun and was shooting literally anything but the tank that was trying to line up a shot, with his gunner peppering the aircraft, only for my friend to spawn in and finally teach the tank a lesson. Plus you know you're being a royal pain in the enemy's ass when you make a couple squads go full AA with Liz missiles, Recoil-less, Stinger and Wildcat AA just to bring you down.
KaneToad is the best BF2042 pilot I’ve ever seen…Hands Down! Our squad is in this video…KaneToad is the pilot, Twisted is on the 50 Cal. & STIRFRY is repairing some serious damages
A couple of times I've played other combined arms games coming from Planetside 2 and the reactions I get when I fly the same I do in PS2 always amuses me XD
This makes me miss the days of being a dedicated Valkyrie pilot on PlanetSide 2. Four passengers, one gunner on nose gun, and me piloting. We slugged it out in the jungles of Hossin, me coming low as the Galaxies (Like the Condor here only seating 16 with 4 gunners) were getting slammed by Terrain Republic (TR) Mosquitoes. The flyboys were definitely on that night and Mos's are nothing to sneeze at if the aces were on. Outfit lead was getting tired of losing his Galaxy to air superiority so I told him and and our best players to hop in my Valk, well aware the enemy air was still hanging around. As soon as I saw their models appear in the sky, I dropped through the trees (very hard to so in most spots, no exception there. In fact, memory serves I clipped my tail coming down but managed to not collide with trees or ground) and floored it as fast as I could. It was wider maneuvering around the CP but was swarming with troops. Told Outfit lead to drop only when I said to, as I saw our chance on a massive root that overlooked the CP and was completely empty of those cherries (TR was red, I fought for New Conglomerate or NC which was blue). OL said "Anyone not listening is getting kicked." Whelp, flyboys saw me and I heard the A-Locks beeping as I we slid forward. I kicked upwards as the first missile pinged me. People were yelling at me that they were about to drop but I told them to shut their traps and repair, dammit. Kept my nose on the tree in front of me and proceeded to spin around it and a few other trees measuring in 15-25 meters in width. Big boy trees. And every single branch was death if I hit one. Kept my on sliding around trees and ducking under low hangers as missiles slammed into trees. Only two Mosses followed me into the trees and boy, those pilots could fly. But they failed to realize I had advantage here, as my gun was 360 arc on the underside while their weapons were fixed. If they tried to swing in fron, they had a 30mm vanilla gun to contend with. And all I had to do was not clip those branches are crash into a tree. Something to note, the space between trees was tight for even the Mosquitoes but I was spinning circles around them. I heard one finally crash and burn and it wasn't long before the second effed off only to slam nose first into another tree. All in all, about four to five minutes had passed and was the most intense dogfight that (usually) I had no right to win. Yet, it was my Valk that dropped the four man fire team into position, and did so again and again until our positioning allows us to take pressure off of the CP attackers. Good praises came to me from OL, even a few cherries commended me in ALL Chat. My response? "Where we dropping you next, boys?" Shout out to Blazin420 whom I haven't heard from in years. You were the best gunner a pilot could have. R.I.P. Warpigs
I wish they bought general chat back. Some of my best/favorite moments in battlefield is doing something crazy then looking up in the top left and seeing them complain/be like no way did you just do that?

I watched this a few times since it was uploaded, makes me wanna play again
Makes the game so much more satisfying if you can get a good tank or helo crew.
He rolled that thing like he was in a spitfire coming out of attack formation.
Love your videos. Rewatch all your BFV plane videos almost every day
0:26 two shots chopper, 0:40 soldier just takes it like a man
I remember that when the game was announced I was super excited to try the new transport helicopter
I love the chat at 7:46. “can i try gunner seat” “Nope…Only pros can have gunner seat” lmao
😂 That was me…STIRFRY_6FU😂
Oh man, wanted to see how good a pilot he was, but then i heard the music and damn, its not worth it
That take off, turning over and diving down into the city was straight out of fuckin' Halo.
Thats just how battlefield players fly im at lvl 12 and i can already fly perfectly
@RangerDave I was the pilot who destroyed that tank in front of you. I also joined in on your crew a couple of times for some spawn points
I have a feeling this guy terrorized Planetside 2 battlefields in the Galaxy.
In battlefied 2142 dropships and pod launcher BMP were a major part in titan assault strategy and flag control.
That first part what the pilot did was awesome
The key is having people actually manning it and not just spawning and jumping
When I was playing very few Gunners and bad Pilots swarmed every server, and I tried to find good Gunners, but never could; Jets always picked me off.
I knew it was a good idea hitting these out the sky with the TOR
wait man saw a guy hovering his osprey and said ''this mans pretty good'' guess it dont take much to shine
That and most people who try to fly , don’t have their wings yet
"They knew what they were doing, so I'm gunna go help them out." That's not what they want...
Only because there’s about 3 pilots left playing the game.
Great, a close range Spectre Gunship, just what BF needed...
when you remember that playing against 1 person is not the same as bf 4, this vid hits different, as in not at all lol
A couple of times I've played other combined arms games coming from Planetside 2 and the reactions I get when I fly the same I do in PS2 always amuses me XD
Set Space to Pitch up and Q and E to Roll left and Right and you can do some amazing things in that aircraft ;)
OL said "Anyone not listening is getting kicked."
Whelp, flyboys saw me and I heard the A-Locks beeping as I we slid forward.
"Where we dropping you next, boys?"
Shout out to Blazin420 whom I haven't heard from in years. You were the best gunner a pilot could have.
R.I.P. Warpigs
I wish they bought general chat back. Some of my best/favorite moments in battlefield is doing something crazy then looking up in the top left and seeing them complain/be like no way did you just do that?
