Fun fact: Queen are the only band in History to have a no1 hit written by EVERY SINGLE MEMBER. There's no dead weight in that band
Hmmmm what is the Brian's song that get number 1.?
Carlos Astudillo Lam We Will Rock You
@@lapsustemporal but he write who want live forever and mather love crazy good songs
@@marymartin-capouya2524 ah ok, in France as b-side of We Are the Champions single
@@justynawojcicka5344 yes they're really good songs. I asked because I didnt remember what of his song get number one. We will rock you get number 1 in France as b-side of We Are the Champions single near 1978.
Am I the only one who thinks that „i‘m in love with my car“ is actually a really really good song and Rogers voice is just amazing?
I think that I'm in love with my car is the best Roger Taylor's song.
listen to tenement funster
No you're not I love it too
YAAAAS
Yea but for another band where is not a guy name Freddy
The members of Queen were so talented
they truly were......
They are also
Everyone one of them! Freddie got so much attention but they all are hugely gifted musicians.
Also well high educated
correction *are*
"IT'S A METAPHOR, BRIAN!" "NOT THE COFFEE MACHINE!"
"When my hand on your greasegun" by Roger
"You call me sweet like a kind of cheese" by Brian
Brian and John : "Not the coffee machine!"
I’m obsessed with that movie
@@JuanRamirez-fw5uz same here. While a lot of people hate it, I love it so much, even if it deviates from facts.
@@user-bv4jq6sm9t sweet cheese ROFL
Oh, I´ve searched for this comment! Love the movie
I had no idea these are the days of our lives was written by Roger!
It’s about his kids I think
it wasnt...after the album "the Miricle" the band decided that all songs from that point will be credited as written by queen, if you check out the credits on the album "innuendo " it states all songs written and performed by queen.......
All songs on innuendo were indeed credited to Queen as a whole no matter who wrote what. Taylor wrote Days of our Lives.
I think These Are The Days Of Our Lives was originally on a The Cross album Roger put out in the 80s.
Brent Morris he wrote for his dad
A fun fact of Queen: All the band members are university graduates with degrees. Not many bands can boast that kind of educational qualifications.
Brian has a doctorate in Astrophysics and is an occasional consultant to NASA.
Hell! That’s not saying a lot really.....most band members these days can barely read! 😉
I wonder if any of them know the difference between the plural and the possessive?
Roger did dental studies 😆😁
@@gordoningraham5750 yes, they were all educated, and finished their studies
Radio GAGA is one of the best songs in my life ..
Mine too
Their worst ..
me three
Brings back memories🤗
I love radio ga ga.
Im in love with my car was used as comic releaf in the movie, but it is a great song. one of their best, actually. Some people seem to be incapable of undertand this because they didn't know the song prior to the movie...
Had to sing that in a band in '76...what a testicle tightener!
Paulo Santiago idk man, I’ve known queen for years and I’ve always found that song kinda funny, as kick ass as it is. Especially lyrics like “cars don’t talk they’re just four wheeled friends” lmao
I thought Im In Love With My Car was shit before the movie but after all the jokes about it, i like it now XD
I actually have to agree with the rest of the band on this one. Those lyrics are just cringe for me! And while I like his voice most of the time, I'm not a big fan of it in I'm in love with my car.
One of their best ?? one of their weakest efforts actually
Not only is Roger a great songwriter, he's written some of Queen's most memorable songs, and that's saying a lot.
Not only is he a great songwriter, he's also an excellent singer. He likes to sing his solo pieces in that gravelly voice, but he also does all the high notes in the harmonies, and often doubled Freddy's voice from behind the drum kit.
Yeah right, especially as a drummer in a band that has every member as a songwriter. No mean feat at all.
@@MartijnVos He does have a ridiculously versatile voice and was really one of the main ingredients of that oh so recognisable Queen sound. His and Mercury's voices sounded so great together either in harmony or as opposites as they did in 'Brighton Rock' and 'Bohemian Rhapsody'.
@@MartijnVos It's *Freddie*, just sayin'!
? They all have
He is so talented. Can you believe how good the drummers voice is. Roger is definitely one of the greats.
"Drowse" is a great song made by Taylor and definitely should be on this list.
Drowse may be my all-time favorite Queen song! How can you leave that off the list? Tenement Funster - also a great song and far outshines Radio Ga Ga, which, sure has a nice melody but is lyrically pretty pedestrian, I'd say. Also, though I would not say it is a great song - it is a nice rocker which was something that added to the News of The World album: Fight from the inside and Sheer Heart Attack (which is already included on this list)- toughened up the album I think.
Just what I was thinking
My e x a c t thoughts
Absolutely!
"Out here on the street, we'd gather and meet".... with the solving chords, it's brilliant. Not sure if Roger came up with that bridge, sounds more like a May-influence to me.
Ugh Radio Gaga is such an iconic song I love t so much
Vanya Dewayani omg I know
When we saw the Bohemian Rhapsody movie, my husband was very pleased to watch live aid part, playing Radio Gaga. He said that song accompanied him while doing paperworks
1 of my favorites. Roger plays guitar on sheer heart attack. The solo roll he does in the middle is quite impressive.
When I saw them in concert I was very impressed with Rogers vocals. He did all of the backing vox!
Все участники Queen очень талантливые.Уникальная группа.
Radio GAGA! 💜 👑
I honestly had never heard Radio Ga Ga before the movie. I don't know how I missed it for all these decades, but it's one of my favorites now.
Vivencio Tabuada Radio GooGoo😋👑
Radio goo goo
it sucks
Both "In the lap of the gods" and "In the lap of the gods... revisited" were written by Freddie Mercury.
Instead of it, Drowse could have been also in the list. It is a beautiful song that provides a misterious and a magically heavy ambient.
instead of solo album every member contributed to queen's album which makes queen even geater
It is not Roger Taylor...
It's Rogerina
But it is Roger Taylor
@@timjones1193 umm I bet it is Rogerina
@@ellie-qn5ow youre so silly whahahha
@@HendrickLuizOfficial hey nobody ever touch my Sexy Rogerina...
@@ellie-qn5ow oh im so sorry ellie i dont touch your rogerina last last night :(
You know a band is so good if all members can create great songs and the drummer can really sing.
One of my ALL time faves of Queen is a song called "Rock it" ( Prime Jive). Loved it when it came out on the album The Game. Only recently found out that both Freddie and Roger are sharing the main vocals. Freddie only does the intro of the song. Sounds so awesome. What genius this band posses .
Yes, agree, Prime Jive one of the best Queen's song👌💜
**Dont we all know that I’m in love with car was written by him right**
Right? Like I thought it was written by Freddie lol
@@laurynsalas7515 a real queen fan know, like only roger is motorsexual

Roger's contributions on the early albums always rocked the hardest
10. Modern Times Rock and Roll
9. Invisible Man
8. Drowse
7. Sheer Heart Attack
6. Breakthru
5. Tenement Funster
4. I'm In Love With My Car
3. A Kind of Magic
2. Radio Ga Ga
1. These Are The Days of Our Lives
duhg These Are the Days of Our Lives is personally the most underrated Queen song. It’s my fourth favorite Queen song of all time.
Thanks... Beautiful 👍🇲🇽👏😀
Your top 3 should be your bottom 3. These are the Days of our Lives No. 1. R U KIDDING ME. I miss freddie dearly, but C.mon Man. What about Rock it (Prime Jive), Tenement Funster, and Fight From the Inside? Those songs are Rock.
duhg wwwwwaaaaaat?
Fight from the inside
Whenever I listen to these are the days of our lives, I feel sad.
A kind of magic is one of my favourite Queen songs
Roger Tyler is actually cute.
His a gorgeous man and so talented, I might have had a"coffee" with him.

"More Of That Jazz" and "I'm In Love With My Car", are 2 of the songs i love most in my life
Thank you Roger Taylor for being such an AMAZING musician !
A kind of magic, these are the days of our lifes, i'm in love with my car, radio gaga 😍😍😍😘 Roger😍💙
Queen are the most stylish, complete and talented band, full of kind of music. Rock n roll, pop, ballads, folk, country, jazz, disco, punk, reggae. No wonder they become a very influenced band of the century.
No puedo imaginarme a Queen sin alguno de sus cuatro miembros, todos son unos genios👌😍
These are the days of our lives - best song written. Love it
Best drummer of all time! EVER!!!
Monstro, maravilhoso!!!
These are the days of our lives
Its such an underrated and amazing song
Agree with Radio Ga Ga as No 1 - bloody iconic video as well.
You left out my absolute favorite Roger Taylor song~~~"Tenement Funster". This song rocks
YES! It's one of my favorite Queen songs
My fav RT song
same here, that song is amazing. In my top 10 of Queen
Absolutely
Nailed teen angst! 🎯
Great Robert Taylor
The Songs beautiful
Thanks .hugs🤗
5,4,3,1 amazing song ....Best drummer ever...Love you Roger ❤️❤️❤️
And Phil Collins
In the lap of the gods was written by Freddie.
True, but he has some killer screams in this song.
True but he had a big part in it
How did they get that wrong?
Yep, was going to wade in with that too.
Agreed
"More of that Jazz" is right up there as the band's greatest hard rock song. Brian's guitar is just so f'ng nasty and Taylor's vocals soar above the clouds. He was really something. "I'm in Love with my Car" was my anthem as a teenage boy just discovering the wonders of the automobile. It remains one of my favorite Queen songs, which to date, number about 100.
WoW how many talent!!!
Radio Ga Ga is a monument! Stunned that he composed it!
all as equal to each other. name another band in history that has all members write chart topping hits? not even the Beatles can have claim to that stat! and that's not even mentioning the quality of each band members records. the fact you've got top 10 Freddie songs..Brian songs..Roger songs..John songs just says how damn good they were. all have wrote unforgettable songs that will stay with us till the end of time.
Oh that Ringo, ir ir wasnt for him...
I still love him
Um with their solo careers, Ringo had his brilliant song, Photograph. The No-No song, It Dont Come Easy, and Never Without You are also favorites of mine.
@1manuscriptman Ringo never had a hit single that he wrote as a Beatle. I've been a Beatles fan for over 40 years and I have studied their music extensively and while they were the most creative band of their time, many other bands have been better musicians than them by far; including Queen. None of the members of the Beatles comes close to the mastering their instruments like Brian, John, Roger and Freddie did. This is not only a fan opinion; it's a musician's observation as well. Let's just agree that both bands are GREAT and Legendary.
@1manuscriptman Bulldogdave is right. Speaking as a musician myself, Queen were far better musicians than all members of the Beatles, I'd go so far as to say they were all virtuosos. But, The Beatles were better songwriters in that nearly every song on the majority of their albums could have been hits. With Queen, I choose my favourite songs and make them into a playlist.....which actually mostly comprises of their hits. But with the beatles I can just put on nearly every album and play them back to back, and love every song.
Both bands were geniuses in their own right.
@@bulldogdave Couldn't have put it better myself and am both a musician and Beatles worshipper of the last 35 or so years.I also inherited a love of Queen from my brothers music fallout whilst we shared a bedroom at home in the 70s so I have listened to a lot of Queen and do concur about the two bands musical abillites. The four members of Queen got more from their insruments also as technology was changing to give them that ability to do so.
Radio GaGa !!! Una mis favoritas de Queen escrita por el Gran Roger Taylor !!!!
These are the days of our lives
😭😭😭 Thank you Roger
How can one human be so hypnotizingly beautiful😍😍😍

Tenement Funster was the cream of the crop and not even mentioned.
Didn't know that Roger taylor wrote these are the days of our lives. Thanks for lthe info
Nice group of songs. Love this GaGa song. AND, what a handsome man - such a beautiful face.
his singing voice is so different than his falsetto
The inspiration for Radio Ga Ga was Roger’s then 4 year old son, who told his dad that everything on the radio is “CaCa” (Spanish for poop). Roger agreed and wrote the song. Of course, the “CaCa” part had to be revised so, that’s why the final version is “Radio Ga Ga”. It’s one of the best songs of all time and is instantly recognized beginning with the first few cords. Lady Ga Ga used this as the inspiration for her stage name, as well.
Wow, Roger I always knew about your songs. So happy the UA-cam audience is being educated.
Wonderful! Roger!!!!!!!!
Como eu amo esse grupo
He had a Led Zepeling felling and style. Great voice and musical skills, as good as Freddie and Brian. He is one of the most influential drumers of all time and one of the greatest vocals in modern music.
Roger was the songwriter with a beautiful and powerful songs !!!
And Queen had one incredible mark ... everyone of the band members was a songwriter !!!
Not much music bands, can exhibit this !!!!
A kind of magic, radio ga ga... Whow !
Rogers soul as a songwriter shows up in Sheer Heart Attack.
Rock it (Prime Jive) and Drowse should be on the list.
Que lista maravilhosa!!! Je suis totalement d'accord! I loved this selection!!
These are the days ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
These are the days of our lives, is so damn good.
Tenement Funster is a superb song and deserves a place here. Not the best of choices. Love the rawness of Roger's voice

Thank God Freddie loved his bandmates to the point that he fostered and pushed their talents, otherwise we would be without these great songs.
This point was totally (maybe even deliberately) missed by the so-called biopic
Action This Day and Calling All Girls are great tunes as well.

OMG YESSS RADIO GA GA IS THE BEST QUEEN SONG EVER AND IN THE WORLD! I LOVE ROGER TAYLOR
He and Deacky have written the best queen s songs
1. Rock it ( Prime Jive)
0:19 He look's like a teenager! Roger Taylor has an amazing voice range. He can do very high falsetto and he can sing more rock song's. He was great. Queen was the best band ever.
Missing the song Drowse. Beautiful song!
"Fight from the Inside" and "Loser in the End" are my favorites of his.
My kind of Queen fan! Just because they're deep cuts shouldn't deny them a place on the list.
Roger Taylor said "These are the days of our lives was the best song to Queen"
All the members of Queen have a talent.we cannot dny that. That's why I still loved them
Rock it! Prime Jive! Should be in the list
And Heaven for everyone?
It's good
In The Lap of The Gods was written by Freddie
No it wasn't
True but Roger's screams are a highlight for me.
I thought radio Gaga was written by Brian May about his sons love with the radio
No, when Roger's son Felix was a baby, he heard the radio and said 'Radio caca'. That inspired Roger to write Radio Gaga
