Local businesses being forced out - but no one does anything to stop it!!
Central Pacific Bank pushes 3 local small businesses out. There’s a lot of other open buildings around you could used. No Aloha.
Who the heck uses CPB anyway?
@@davec3651 Who the heck walks into a bank anymore?
Kuni's ... my mom used to spend sooo much time in there.
Sad, used to live near by and spent many hours at Kuni Dry Goods.
The bank should build up and keep these shops open below!
What the government should do is require that the developer in order to get permits provide the same amount of space downstairs with direct storefronts and a locked in lease rate that is the same as all the businesses are currently paying so that NO BUSINESS is displaced by their proposed development. The county needs to be FAR MORE proactive AGAINST businesses and people being displaced by developers. The county determines permits and stipulations especially special use permits and therefore can dictate and negotiate some VERY FAVORABLE contingencies for local existing businesses and residents.
Yeah, like we need another huge bank building. Must be they making a lot of money.
So sad for oahu!
The future downtown of Honolulu! Yes!
Damn bankers! No heart!
Moi'ilili is one of those last small kine places that are like the hanabata days. But like they said it was inevitable. With so many products sold online these days I'm honestly surprised they stayed open this long. I mean how people really buy Thailand stuffs anywaz?
That’s family losing their businesses…Sad Day
yup
well, maybe the banks don't have the money anymore to develop for now....🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Central Pacific boycott
This is the end of America.
Huge areolas are nice bgfd
Hawaii will just end up looking like a mainland city with nothing but big corporation businesses losing its identity. No more small local businesses.... Yuck.
