- The CasaCooler kit is designed to dramatically increase the air cooling efficiency of your Lambretta, thanks to its computer-designed cowling which literally pulls air inside. CNC manufactured in Italy, in 6 colour options, these kits are a straight plug n’ play swop for the original components and come complete with everything needed. The central steel bearing holder uniquely uses just one external Viton oilseal and engines spin MUCH more freely with this modification. Tried and tested on the racetracks, these incredible components are now available for your road going scooters. Don't know how well that's doing to go with Lambretta purist's, an oil lubed mag bearing, not stank lid grease, I'll be surprised if they go for it. I think it's a top idea & a long time coming .
How can get hold of casa products I'm in England 🇬🇧
are you not using threadlock on the countersunk screws
Looks excellent, price seems high but if you were to buy quality standard parts they wouldn't be cheap and these are quality, as usual from casa.
you mean you could actually find a price on there web site !
The prices aren't cheap because they're billet. I wouldn't use anything other than the Casa cooler. Its top notch and the bearing is oiled by 2 stroke instead the dire grease labyrinth method.
Looks interesting, indeed. Nevertheless what are the differences on the cylinders temperature between an original mag housing and the CP mag housing? For instance at a constant speed of 60mp/h.
Hi, would you do a pressure test on the engine once completed.? Cheers
So no need for grease packing the bearing???
No Ray, as it's lubricated by the oil in the fuel mix.
Please edit out the race install with the crank in the motor. That method just threw the crank out of true.
If your crank is good, there's no way that should happen. If tapping a bearing sleeve onto a crank is enough to do that, then it's time for a new crank like this : www.riminilambrettacentre.com/en/catalogsearch/result/?q=X8+crankshaft
