This 8th generation of Golf can no longer be ordered as a 3-door hatch, only as a 5-door. Also there's no longer a manual transmission, just the 7 speed DSG automatic.

Speriamo in un restyling perché la Golf ottava serie È veramente brutta esteticamente inoltre ha avuto anche dei grossi problemi al software della macchina e nonostante i vari aggiornamenti ci sono ancora problemi.
Molti pensano che l'ottava generazione della Golf sia davvero una delle minori in termini di design. Non sei certamente solo in questa opinione! ✌️😉

Great video, good driving. It makes me mad the fact that the DSG changes are so computer controlled. It does make the driver impatient. But, at least it handles well enough to go around the Nurburgring at 7:54, 4 seconds slower than the much much faster A45 AMG S.

Its because your gti doesnt have the DCC system option im guesing.
Looks en prijs zijn belachelijk, ik ga nog een paar jaar rijden met mijn 3 deurs gti clubsport mark 7, veel mooier.
Jaaa, die 3 deurs was het wel idd. Jammer dat ze nu enkel nog als 5 deurs gemaakt worden. Golf 7 GTI Clubsport is zeker niet verkeerd, vond die Clubsport S heerlijk rijden én kon veel bagage in! ✌️😄
It’s a shame they don’t sell the three door version anymore… no more manual either? Fingers crossed they will make a Clubsport S version of the 8 too, that one was epic!
I don’t think there’s a manual for the Clubsport and the R anymore… at least not in Europe. If you want the manual, check out the regular GTI! ✨✌️✨
I’m car shopping and i thought a manual in this version was going to be an option here in the US, but its only the regular GTI.
The Club sport way nicer obviously but i have to go manual, I cannot go to boring automatic😅. I had a 2014 si as my first car for the past 5 years and im in need of an upgrade but i guess i gotta go with an American muscle or Subaru🤷🏻♂️.
Not too disappointed but I’ve always been a fan of a sporty hatchback like the Subarus, but those are a little too old already, who knows i might just go with a regular GTI lol

Why have different interfaces for similar cars? It’s economics. ID.4 GTX is coming soon & should be the EV version of this Golf. Hope to be driving it soon! 🔋✌️😎
Owner of MK8 Golf R, I haven't a single issue or ergonomics issue yet. I feel the early press cars or dealership cars had issues as their software version was earlier versions
