Free shipping, deeply discounted, how could I say No? I exercised restraint by not grabbing another 20-30 of the big twist value at $1.87 with all the sakes and discounts. Sanity sorta prevailed when I realized those are big skeins too, where would I put it?
All I can say is it’s good to have a good job to support my “habit”. So far I’ve been able to maintain everything in this one room. Taking advantage of sales on “large” skeins doesn’t help with that plan. I may have to have some overflow . . . It’s a slippery slope 🤣

If I were to use all 12 skeins it would weigh just shy of 4 pounds. I did a test swatch on size 9 needles getting 4 stitches to the inch. No clue how far one skein goes.

I am also making my hubby a blanket out of bernat blanket phasing yarn. A bulky 6. 6 cakes for it and I am about to start cake 5. It is a 60 x 54 so more reasonable on size. Will have to do a row here and there while doing the wedding gift blanket so I can get it done.
Omg laughing with you entire way thru. When we couldn't get out for 2 days with snow I found myself on Joann site. Next thing over 50 skeins in my cart. 😶lol They had my Party yarn back and color Beach that I thought never see again $3ish down from $7( got 10👀😂). And like you said reg Big Twist $2. Also with that coupon couldn't resist some new Prym hooks. Saved over 60% on everything. Now waiting on all the shipments they split it in at least 6 ugh but helps to get it in my much needs cleaning craft room. Oh and I got something fun for storage. $5 wreath storage plastic container and I figure I can make a color wheel of my Amigrumi yarn so I can see and get to it easier!💖💖💖 Rock on! Oh, I saw that with the Party line. I have a bit of a collection of that line too. I e made a couple sweaters with it already. I really liked it. My cart is still full of Big Twist yarn. Happy I split it up and didn’t get those too. That’s a lot to find a home for at one time. My room is due for an organization too.

It’s why I collect the fingering weight yarn. You can pack a lot of that away in one cubby. Those big Lion brand skeins, you can’t hide those away as well. How can you pass up those huge sales? Especially since most yarn has risen through the roof

The next box will be bigger, it’s a full purple blanket and the contrast colors for the golden/taupe blanket. Those are big skeins, they don’t tuck away like my others do 😆

I’ve only got a couple tutorials at the moment, both are for very fast easy crochet items. A flower or mini pumpkin 🎃 treat holder. I created another playlist of those two items to make them easier to find.

Definitely smaller 🤣. I’m past 300 stitches per round on my knit Boggy Creek blanket. The more I knit on it the more it daunts me for an a daily blanket 😊. I’m still making one though

Yesterday was the first day in a week that it wasn't snowing. My son left his phone at his grandma's 45 minutes away. That was over a week ago and we finally got it yesterday.
@@anotheryarn my oldest was 14 because he was in hs band and we wanted a way to communicate with how busy he was. I wish I would have done a different kind of phone but it wasn't so bad with the flip phones he started on. My youngest is the youngest that got a phone and he has very limited options. He was 13. Most of my kids got them when they got jobs or school commitments.
@anotheryarn I got 2 in myc last fall and I knitted a hat and crocheted slippers. And said never again . I sneeze the whole time I was using it and rubbing my nose it was terrible. It is nice and soft, but never again. I hope it works well for you.
I’ve tried to contain everything in my yarn room and not let it spill out to the rest of the house. The yarn is so insulating you can feel the quiet when you walk in. It’s a happy place

The vest influence, I love it. The sleeves for hubby’s sweater are 19 inches, I think a few more inches to go then off to the body.

I’m looking at a large basket weave, just enough variation to make it interesting and still stay “mindless” because those projects are wonderful too
