I know everyone wants to point out how beautiful her voice is or how incredible her musical instrument skills are, but can we just point out how amazing her videography is?? The way this video, ALL her videos in fact, are done amazing. It helps enhance the instrumentals and vocals so well.
Edit: To you dimwits calling me a simp, I'm married. I'm just pointing out she's extremely talented. I used to work as a videographer, hence why I'm impressed with her skills in strategic editing alongside her natural talent with her voice and instruments.
Also her acting. Fixing the viewer with this glare and generally conveying the feeling, meaning of the lyrics with her facial expressions.
Its a complete experience.

"Astronaut" literally translates to "star sailor",so the songs they sing are space shanties.
Space is noting but a sea of Nottingness so sea/space Shantys are going to be a real thing as some point shit they all ready are.
I wasn't expecting this song in the game. Nor for it to go as fricken hard as it does.

this is by far the best version i have heard in a long time. literal goosebumps actually. amazing voice, amazing instrumental work, and as someone who went to middle college for film and media production i cant help but also admire the camera work.
we totally have to get this musical wonder in contact with Digital Extreme, she would enhance their cinematic music so much. she deserves to get even more recognision for her skills in the art of music

Years ago an Irish lady, Enya, jealously managed each musical track with meticulous care; Alina raises the game up by exploiting newer technologies so well. The musical depth and artistic sensibility, of the singer's voice and harmonic arrangements, definitely bring Agnetha and Anna-Frida (the ABBA ladies) to mind - perhaps Alina's choice of music has somewhat more of an opera-like inclination. So ABBA ladies and Enya take note - here comes more world class music.
Why are you the only person who understands that the chorus isn't supposed to be in a digitally perfect harmony? The slight disconnect between the different voices makes it sound human, rather than robotic. Also, side note, this song was based on an American riverboat song, Sugar in the Hold. Certainly a good choice by the developers, and it makes sense that sailors in the future would adapt old songs to fit their situation. It already happened with American sailors taking Drop of Nelson's Blood and turning it into Roll The Old Chariot Along

Playing this quest and expierencing the original song, the goosebumps were the strongest I have felt in years.
Hearing "Today we sail on the solar rail" just hit different when playing in that playable "cinematic".
This is a genuinly amazing cover and the goosebumps were just as strong, if not stronger!

Я не играл, но когда-то услышал сначала We all lift together, засела она мне где-то на годик. А потом вышла и Sleeping in the cold below... Попалась она мне только благодаря тому, что я буквально выискивал каверы на первую песню. Они обе шикарные. А каверы Алины да - отдельный вид искусства

As an avid Warframe player who has sunk some 1800 hours in the game, this has got to be one of the best covers of a song in Warframe library that I've ever seen. Extremely well done and polished to the shine of a Corpus Granum Crown. ;)
