Sloppy work, guy measured the spacing with the block then removed it, saw the picket move out of alignment and the guy still nailed it. Also, nails weren't lined up. Need hangers too.
Joseph Foster Is your eyesight that poor you can't place one board evenly? Are you also going for the hangers since the customer doesn't want to pay for it? Fence hanger does not look nice either. People think they know it all.
@@jeff3993 OR a wood fence with steel posts using steel brackets were needed. Toe nailing in a 2x4 is lazy work hoping for a repair job 3 yrs down the road.
This is a good crew...they work fast and well together. Good nail gun control. Although toe nailing is extremely strong, rail clips or hangers would greatly improve the longevity of this fence. AZ Fence Contractor
What's wrong with hard hats ignorant people. These guys are bresenting themselves being professional. I own a Landscape company and i have my crew with uniforms and hardhats at all times. These guys do good work!
+jose gallo What kind of landscaping do you do? Mowing lawns and gardening or hardscaping like building fences, building greenhouses and installing garden beds?
POLOAZTECA Are you willing to pay for the extra cost and labor of screws? Using screws will most likely add a days labor depending how long the fence is.
Looks like a government job so they have to follow tons of safety rules. Lucky for them no one noticed he was chewing gum while working which violates at least three government safety regulations and comes with horrendous fines.
Steve Ryman Like you said takes longer.... to install... it's also more expensive.... so are you still going to use screws if the customer does not want to pay the extra material cost and the extra labor?
PRODUCTION buddy... Nails is faster ;-) and the right nail, will last as long as a screw. If that've the case houses would be fully built with nothing but screws.
Oh I love the internets !! People love to talk crap !! But they wouldnt know the first thing to do when it comes to actually doing the job day in day out ... Hahahaha
crap work, you can tell. No metal hangers so it won't last long. No screws. They're wearing hard hats and vests lol. I know many master fence builders, never seen a single one wear a hard hat and a vest. This looks like the road crew thought to build a fence. None of those boards will last very long without any joist hangers/fence clips. Sloppy.
77Avadon77 This made me LOL. You're definitely right. I like how they just use a shit ton of nails instead of a simple hanger and screws. I think they're just wearing the engineer getup so they look more official.
chrisgsauce lol I think they were afraid of getting run over by pressure treated boards. He's like "Hmmm this might not hold, better fire 20 more nails into that 2x4" lol I've never understood building these kinds of fences, where you can totally see through them, so pointless. Only screws used on the entire job are on the post caps. lmao Job well done lolol
If you build wood fences for a living I can tell you have never done commercial work. I build wood and iron fences mostly commercial for one of the biggest fence companies in Texas and at every commercial job it is mandatory to wear a hard hat and a vest as you can see this a commercial job being built for an apartment so before you want to be a smart guy learn how real jobs are suppose to be done
77Avadon77 You are an idiot. Who uses screws? You use a ring shank galvanized nail. Hard hats and safety vests are per OSHA. You should stick to building your youtube account before commenting on something out of your knowledge. Fence clips??? lol
God job.Bravo.
What are the size of nails that you used for fastening the boards and rails to the posts.? Thanks.
Brilliant work cheers from Sarnia
Looks like these guys do good work. I liked the detail that they put into it. Nothing better than a quality wood fence.

LOL @ "Nothing better than a quality wood fence" Yes there is. A vinyl fence that won't rot.
@@jeff3993 OR a wood fence with steel posts using steel brackets were needed. Toe nailing in a 2x4 is lazy work hoping for a repair job 3 yrs down the road.
Good job guys. Good thing you dont use brackets, they look like crap. Good job.
Great job guys 👍🏼
It looks nice
Good job!!
Nice ! Thank
Do you use Bamboo?

What do you know about it , funny geezer
+kmclfc Years of experience doing the same damn thing!
+Michael Waterman I think your pulling my plonker
+kmclfc You must be some kinda fence Troll.
+Michael Waterman they work together because there on film any other time there shooting nails at each other
Great job very helpful .
Is it generally harder for shorter guys to work in the fence industry ??? I'm asking because framing is hard for short guys.
How many inches are these vertical fence boards spaced apart?
qual é o tratamento que a madeira recebi para resistir ao tempo?

+jose gallo What kind of landscaping do you do? Mowing lawns and gardening or hardscaping like building fences, building greenhouses and installing garden beds?
I love the design, only i will use screws and hangers or brackets.
Ritchie Pacres Nice... I like Ur idea. I really don't like those nails on an angle.... Don't seem the right way to Me...
+Ritchie Pacres any idea of the size of the timber that were used here, thanks
POLOAZTECA Are you willing to pay for the extra cost and labor of screws? Using screws will most likely add a days labor depending how long the fence is.
No brackets ?? How cheap.. Love to see a picture of it now falling apart.
ya, toe nailing! that how they fall apart.
Thank goodness for those vests. You don't want to be hit by a squirrel when fence building.
i like the idea, can anyone tell me the sizes of the timber and post?!?, please
You not know how to research? 6x6 posts, 1x3 rails, 1x4 slates and some nails
good job guys..
Gracias por la idea
Can someone please tell me the size how big are the posts? The piece of wood that goes on the top.
Looks like;Posts 6×6×10 ,Top rail is 2×6×8 PT wood.Board rails are 2×4×8.
What wood is that?
Pressure treated
Shouldn’t the name say unlimited?
They need sunscreen!
hard hats?

RJ Hoover Chewing gum? Are U serious? Never heard of that one...
Screws take longer...last much longer.
+Steve Ryman Yup

3:56, 1/4"+ below his mark lol
HAHA you saw that too!? lol
I sure hope those are stainless steel nails you're shooting into those rails.
Uhm stainless? You mean galvanized don't you?
have you lot never seen a proper fence done with mortice posts and tenoned rails
Basically an advertisement..
Good quality..
Standing on the fence to run a circular saw between your feet at 7:40 is why you wear that hard hat (tic). Seriously, standing on the fence?
Screws is better not nails

Yea didn't watch the video
it sucks building a fence with loose boards, its faster wen the panels are premade
LK nation Shows your lack of knowledge.
no actually building a fence with loose boards is easier but takes longer and its not reasonable when u get paid by feet not hours
crap job that won't last more than few years. Like I said shitty well done job!

juan lerma
You take the least of my complaints, I was just trolling on the hardhats. But explain to me why this fence was built like shit.

Sloppy
I heard about woodprix instructions good opinions.
The music sucks.
