How exiting watching them fly over land I know so well. The beautiful and rugged La Rumerosa, the city of Tecate, Lake Prensa el Carrizo and the malquiladora factories of the La Mesa neighborhood of Tijuana. The rugged mountains to the right (north) on final, the Otay range, have been the demise of general aviation aircraft over the years flying out of the parallel field on the US side of the border, Brown Field. The worst crash being the Reba MacEntire band crash in 1991. And a fact: the Tijuana-San Diego metro area contains more than 5 million people and the TJ-SD border crossing is the busiest in the world. Saludos to the two pilots, excelente trabajo.

Its always a pleasure to see a Dreamliner landing in Tijuana Airport, were used to see narrow body aircraft such as the 737 and A320's, and being able to see such a beautiful bird like the 787 is the best

I learned to fly at Brown Field which is just on the other side of the border and have gone into TJ while coming and going to Mexico, familiar territory and these pilots fly like the pros they are.

Hi can a pilot start on there career on the 787 and finish it on the 787. For example at Air Canada
The Co-Pilot needs to be promoted to Captain, she has it together, is competent and did a great job!

I'd take it that all pilots from around the world must know the English Language
Tijuana Airport takeoffs are interesting as the pilots can't fly over US border
However, when they approach from the ocean on runway 9, they do enter into US airspace otherwise they won't be able to make it safely, it would very challenging. I seen it many times. But you are right they don't need to enter US coming into runway 27

Man I hate to sound like 1950, but I'd freak out if I had two women pilots.
They only speak english because of this video. Otherwise they would never communicate in english with ATC in Mexico..
