We have 2002 Twingo and i genuinely think it is the best city car ever created. The visibility is superb, its tiny yet the trunk space is plenty. Also its very reliable with minimal electronics and economical. In 7 years we had like 3 issues: coil, starter motor and thermostat and that's pretty much it. Soon to be replaced by new Clio ✌️

As a tip to all owners who have electric windows it's possible to replace the light bulbs that are built into the switches. QOL also improves if you invest in a pair of 1.2W bulbs and light up your heat and blower adjusting knobs.

I have almost the exact same car, but with 58 HP. I really wonder how the 75 HP drives! I love these cars. They are so smooth to drive and are quite reliable too! And this one is in a really good shape!
Renault and reliable should never be used in the same sentence. They wee rubbish and burned out in no time on USA roads. They were also known for electrical issues. Long gone now, probably will never be back.
@@scrambler69-xk3kvweird because the Renault Clio, for example is in the top 10 most sold cars in Europe. Also Dacia and Nissan, who are practically Renault, aren't a rare breed in Europe. I think they're more reliable then you think after all.
Older Renaults are very capable and reliable if properly maintaned. For example, the 1st series of Megane, Scenic, Clio and comparable had great long lasting engine if the maintenance is good..@@scrambler69-xk3kv

(I loved that car when I was a kid and I had several die cast of the 1st twingo) also I heard that in France, there's a company who recycles old Twingos by turning them into electric cars (Lormauto by name) too bad I thrown mine in the junkyard (it was before the company was created)
okej, myślałem że mając materiałowy rolldach i szyby w prądzie mam najwyższą wersje wyposażenia, ale po obejrzeniu tego filmiku poczułem się biednie. chyba czas kupić drugą żabę, tymrazem faktycznie najlepiej wyposażoną
Zmierzone 21 sekund do setki? Co to się stało temu autu, że go tak zmuliło, nawet dociążone Initiale z szyberdachem powinno w 12 z groszami się mieścić.

Was ich als Sehr nachteilig empfand , ja ich führ selbst eine zeitlang Twingo 1 ...ist dieser blöde Hintergrundbeleuchtete Digitaltacho den man bei Tageslicht ganz schlecht erkennt , und bei Sonnenschein praktisch gar nicht .. ansonsten ein ausreichendes Sparsames Stadtauto und für Mittlere bis kurze Strecken ebenso gut zu gebrauchen..
@@Canadensis5 im not american, and im not saying the driver needs a rev counter. I also use ears driving my twingo, but this is loud ass car so if somebody hasn''t driven it a lot they might have trouble changing gears in the fastest way.

kinda slow tbh, my 60hp twingo does 0-60 in around 15 seconds. Gear change may be hard without counter, try changing a bit sooner.
Not everyone is American and need a rev counter. We can use our ears hear when we need to shift

20 seconds for 0-100km/h something is wrong with the engine or you push it not enough😅
