I would like to take Anthony home with me and listen to him all day long. He really put a smile on my face and after hearing his description of Compliment, now I am curious to sample it. My favorite from the brand remains Un air d'apogee and sooner or later I'll get myself a bottle. Also, thank you Sebastian for asking about the logo; I still prefer though the old logo, but I understand that they want to make the brand more modern. Thank you for the wonderful video! Following this concept, it will always be interesting and curious to see what you will release new, what facet you will open next time. That's great. I also like that Anthony often plays with the iris in the brand's compositions, this is one of my favorite notes (I’ve got in my collection a full Dior Homme line, since 2005 release😅) Most of all, I’m interested in "Un Air D'Apogee...", sounds close to my soul…☺️ the combination of Iris, honey, tobacco, mimosa, leather - oh yeah, love it! Omg never heard of this brand, already love it! I love that they work with charities, correponding to the idea behind perfumes. That's brilliant!! All the stories behind the inspos are really nice to hear as well! And I also love the concept of vintage/modern. Keeping the heritage and putting a modern twist to it. It makes it authentic! I am so curious about all of those fragrances, but from what I hear, I think I would have a soft spot for pourpre d'automne. I could. I finally got to sample Maison Violet's collected works, except for "CYCLE 001". I can tell that my favorites from them are: "Sketch", Tanagra", "Un Air d'Apogee", "Compliment", and I can like "Abime" too. The other ones are not bad, but I don't prefer one of the other ones. I'm trying to decide which would be the first one I would buy a full bottle of, and right now, it's between "Sketch", "Tanagra", or "Un Air d'Apogee".
Really liked the presence of the guest in the studio instead of zoom, it's a good change of pace ! I'd prefer to receive a sample set as I've not smelled any yet and that would be a great way to test them out and then see which to get. Cheers from Switzerland !
Iris is one of my favorite notes too. You can't have too much. I'm deep into this house. Compliment is my signature scent these days. I live for tuberose and it is phenomenal. I'm a violet fan too, and have Pourpre d'Automne--a successful blind buy . I have Cycle too [bottle 41, I think]. I'd love a bottle of Nuée Bleue. I'm in DC.

TANAGRA !! The woody, amber base notes have me super excited. Also, it is unisex. I am a sucker for unisex fragrances. I rarely win anything, but South Carolina is the state I reside in. Wow! To support women's abuse is amazing. I will speak on this brand to others who are into smelling good like me. Also, to buy a limited edition bottle, then only the buyer can refill is v.i.p. status. I feel special. 😊 I also like that the two of you were in the same building together. I know that had to have meant a lot, Sabatian !
Thoroughly enjoyed this .. Sadly no retailers here in the UK selling this house ! I will have to email them and ask if that may come about soon … extremely interested in Tanagra and Un Air D’apogee - though all sound intriguing when I, like Anthony , also have a love of Iris . I sure like the idea of Cycle 001 as well with being able to refill a limited edition scent . I love too their commitment to domestic violence support and the way that they want their fragrances to support this important work. Hello Sebastian & Anthony. I enjoyed this video as well as the zoom call you did a few months back to put Maison Violet on my radar. I have been totally intrigued by this house especially since they have a 🐝 emblem. My bottle of choice would be Maison Violet Sketch. All those notes are my favorite but Patchouli stands out because blends beautifully on my skin. The earthy & longevity it brings is top notch. Warm winter greetings from New Jersey.
This is such an interesting house, I love that they are reviving vintage fragrances and are getting involved with Charities. This cycle system they have in place is not something I've seen before and there a few discontinued fragrances I have that I wish did something like this. I've actually been researching Nathalie Lorson as I noticed she is the perfumer behind quite a few things in my collection. I'm obsessed with Iris lately also, I've been finding it really comforting. Your reviews are always wonderful and informative! Cycle 101 sounds interesting to me. I usually like stronger fragrances with lots of Silage. But, I would like to try the minimalistic powdery flowery musky fragrance. A skin smell as you referred to it. This sounds like something I do not currently have. Can’t wait to smell it in person. Anthony looks like an interesting person to talk to, with a lovely sounding brand. Pourpre d'Automne is definetly the one I'd like to try first. I have a soft spot for violet and violet leaf. And it sounds interesting.
I always enjoy learning about the fragrances and how they came about, especially when it is directly from the company. I'm really drawn to Un Air d'Apogee a d Sketch. I've never tried anything from this house but they have some important traits I like to see in a perfumer. The sustainable approach is very thoughtful as well as their take on the refresh of the bottle design and nods to their classics. I'm in the United States, Texas.

Compliment sounds most interesting to me as I grew up on a tropical country and now stuck in cold country of Canada 🇨🇦. I too have been using fragrance as an escape for 2 years!
No way! I was on their website today…they’ve just brought out travel size bottles. I was looking…👀! After trying the sample set, I immediately fell in love with Un Air d’Apogee. I don’t think I ever had such a strong reaction to a scent & bought a bottle. I want to get pourpre d’automne next and then Nuee Bleu. I don’t typically like a lot of ‘lipsticky’ perfume, but I think the iris present in all three of these scents is just so so beautiful. Also - I tried a sample of Carnal Flower a while ago - and I prefer Compliment. They give the same feeling (they’re not dupes!) but I prefer how Compliment wears on me. Hmm…maybe I need that one too! 🙈Can’t wait to see what they do next 😊 love this house. Edit - in the EU! 💜
Maison Violet is the most elegant perfume house. Compliment, Tanagra, Sketch & Un Air d'Apogee are big loves for me. Frangances I've been seeking, I've found in this house. Example, a tobacco scent for summer and Air d'Apogee is wonderful for that. I was also seeking the best tuberose scent for daytime and Compliment is just so lush, creamy and cool. I'm really looking forward to more of their creations. 😊

Nice to see people on in person in your studio! I am very interested in this brand and sampling them. I learned about them mostly from you previous videos. I really enjoyed listening about notes and details about all of the perfumes. I love white flowers so my number one choice would be Compliment for sure ( I love tuberose the most). I love their bottles, they are so so elegant and beautiful. I'm from Illinois US.
Sebastian, I listen to your videos every day and my favorites are when you have perfumers on. This was no exception -- the explanations of the process and choices a perfumer has to make (ie. being promted to pull back on the iris, the rationale for the scent concentrations for a soap) makes me feel more connected to a house and its scents. Last year I "blind" purchased Une Air Apogee based upon a recommendation from Tigerlily and not only did I love it, I became obsessed! We're on a break now :-) I'd be happy trying any scent, and I'm drawn to the description of Tanagra. Regardless, I'm going to the website now to try some soaps! Very good show with Anthony from Maison Violet. I have been watching The Perfume Guy for about year now. I have always enjoyed mens fragrances since age 13 14 years old. My first scent was the original Kanon with the round wooden top. I loved it.My .ove grew the older I got. Now today at age 68 my love has really picked up. I by from the reviews I see and hear from Sebastián. I will be purchasing Sketch or Sebastiáns favorit. Great having Anthony there with you. Would lo e to be a Winner in your give away. Another great video!! Nuee Bleue is hands down my favorite iris fragrance. It’s very classy, feminine and very delicate, which I love. I think the whole story behind Maison Violet is cool - how the house was resurrected and brought back to life - and it seems to have had great success. TANAGRA !! The woody, amber base notes have me super excited. Also, it is unisex. I am a sucker for unisex fragrances. I rarely win anything, but South Carolina is the state I reside in. Wow! To support women's abuse is amazing. I will speak on this brand to others who are into smelling good like me. Also, to buy a limited edition bottle, then only the buyer can refill is v.i.p. status. I feel special. 😊 I also like that the two of you were in the same building together. I know that had to have meant a lot, Sabatian !
Thoroughly enjoyed this .. Sadly no retailers here in the UK selling this house ! I will have to email them and ask if that may come about soon … extremely interested in Tanagra and Un Air D’apogee - though all sound intriguing when I, like Anthony , also have a love of Iris . I sure like the idea of Cycle 001 as well with being able to refill a limited edition scent . Really enjoyed learning more about Maison Violet - really impressed with their commitment to recognising their heritage but developing the fragrances for the 21st century. I love too their commitment to domestic violence support and the way that they want their fragrances to support this important work. I'd love to experience the complexity & harmony of sketch as amber florals are my favourite. I'm in London so will look out for Stockists.

Hello Sebastian & Anthony. I enjoyed this video as well as the zoom call you did a few months back to put Maison Violet on my radar. I have been totally intrigued by this house especially since they have a 🐝 emblem.
My bottle of choice would be Maison Violet Sketch. All those notes are my favorite but Patchouli stands out because blends beautifully on my skin. The earthy & longevity it brings is top notch.

This is such an interesting house, I love that they are reviving vintage fragrances and are getting involved with Charities. This cycle system they have in place is not something I've seen before and there a few discontinued fragrances I have that I wish did something like this. I've actually been researching Nathalie Lorson as I noticed she is the perfumer behind quite a few things in my collection. I'm obsessed with Iris lately also, I've been finding it really comforting. I really want to try Compliment or Nuee Bleu! Also I love florals on men! Totally agree with this sentiment. Great video! Edit - commenting from Ireland in the EU

Your reviews are always wonderful and informative! Cycle 101 sounds interesting to me. I usually like stronger fragrances with lots of Silage. But, I would like to try the minimalistic powdery flowery musky fragrance. A skin smell as you referred to it. This sounds like something I do not currently have. Can’t wait to smell it in person. Anthony looks like an interesting person to talk to, with a lovely sounding brand. Pourpre d'Automne is definetly the one I'd like to try first. I have a soft spot for violet and violet leaf. And it sounds interesting.
I always enjoy learning about the fragrances and how they came about, especially when it is directly from the company. I'm really drawn to Un Air d'Apogee a d Sketch. I've never tried anything from this house but they have some important traits I like to see in a perfumer. The sustainable approach is very thoughtful as well as their take on the refresh of the bottle design and nods to their classics. I'm in the United States, Texas.

Compliment sounds most interesting to me as I grew up on a tropical country and now stuck in cold country of Canada 🇨🇦. I too have been using fragrance as an escape for 2 years!
No way! I was on their website today…they’ve just brought out travel size bottles. I was looking…👀! After trying the sample set, I immediately fell in love with Un Air d’Apogee. I don’t think I ever had such a strong reaction to a scent & bought a bottle. I want to get pourpre d’automne next and then Nuee Bleu. I don’t typically like a lot of ‘lipsticky’ perfume, but I think the iris present in all three of these scents is just so so beautiful. Also - I tried a sample of Carnal Flower a while ago - and I prefer Compliment. They give the same feeling (they’re not dupes!) but I prefer how Compliment wears on me. Hmm…maybe I need that one too! 🙈Can’t wait to see what they do next 😊 love this house. Edit - in the EU! 💜

Maison Violet is the most elegant perfume house. Compliment, Tanagra, Sketch & Un Air d'Apogee are big loves for me. Frangances I've been seeking, I've found in this house. Example, a tobacco scent for summer and Air d'Apogee is wonderful for that. I was also seeking the best tuberose scent for daytime and Compliment is just so lush, creamy and cool. I'm really looking forward to more of their creations. 😊

Nice to see people on in person in your studio! I am very interested in this brand and sampling them. I learned about them mostly from you previous videos. I really enjoyed listening about notes and details about all of the perfumes. I love white flowers so my number one choice would be Compliment for sure ( I love tuberose the most). Sebastian, I listen to your videos every day and my favorites are when you have perfumers on. This was no exception -- the explanations of the process and choices a perfumer has to make (ie. being promted to pull back on the iris, the rationale for the scent concentrations for a soap) makes me feel more connected to a house and its scents. Last year I "blind" purchased Une Air Apogee based upon a recommendation from Tigerlily and not only did I love it, I became obsessed! We're on a break now :-) I'd be happy trying any scent, and I'm drawn to the description of Tanagra. Regardless, I'm going to the website now to try some soaps! Very good show with Anthony from Maison Violet. I have been watching The Perfume Guy for about year now. I have always enjoyed mens fragrances since age 13 14 years old. My first scent was the original Kanon with the round wooden top. I loved it.My .ove grew the older I got. Now today at age 68 my love has really picked up. I by from the reviews I see and hear from Sebastián. I will be purchasing Sketch or Sebastiáns favorit. Great having Anthony there with you. Would lo e to be a Winner in your give away. Maison Violet is a house that I discovered on this channel, so thanks Sebastian for that. I got a sample set, and quickly fell in love with Un Air D’Apogee and got myself a full bottle. Absolutely gorgeous tobacco fragrance! Love Anthony’s passion towards fragrances and keeping traditions of the brand. I am definitely interested in Sketch since I love vanilla and patchouli!

It was very nice to hear the interview with someone who went for his dream. I could really feel the passion and love for the perfume. I see so much honesty in it. I was also surprised by how many fragrances captured my attention and I don't own anything like that :) I am something between Sketch and Un Air d’Apogée but I believe that at the end of the day, Sketch is for me

Another great video!! Nuee Bleue is hands down my favorite iris fragrance. It’s very classy, feminine and very delicate, which I love. I would love to have Un Air d’’Apogee, since tobacco is also one of my favorite notes. I never won any giveaways, so I don’t have any hopes for this one also. Man...Let me tell you, I have been dying to try this line! I have heard so many wonderful things about these fragrances! I think the whole story behind Maison Violet is cool - how the house was resurrected and brought back to life - and it seems to have had great success. All of the fragrances you guys spoke about have a lot of hype already but I am very, very excited about their new projects too..Anthony had me laughing when he said they won't let him work with the Iris anymore! Lol! But, something dark and woodsy...Ooooo, I can't wait! I'm sure its going to be wonderful!
