I'm totally you when it comes to Sacred Flame. Its by far my fave Argos fragrance and I gotta get the 100ml cause the 30ml is definitely not enough. But thank you for reviewing the house!
My first Argos were Adonis Awakens and Triumph of Bacchus. I love the rose and raspberry of Adonis and the dry down of Bacchus is next level. I could grab the entire lineup if I had that full size bank account! The bottle designs are art about artists. As a painter myself, these bottles are inspirational. Great review!
Thank you so much for dropping by. That’s one of the things that drew me to this brand at first. It was the artistry, it feels like it’s more than just the juice, which I love. Slowly but surely, I’m sure you’ll get a chance to experience them all
Love the video bro. I need to get Baccio next until Sacred Flame hits discounters. For me though, I'll have to disagree between the comparison with Danae and Phaeton. I find them completely different. I found Danae was sickly sweet. To my Phaeton is a smoky + vanilla, but a unique take with the spices. Phaeton is my favorite from the house thus far.
I hear you bro, I don’t know to me I found them fairly similar. Not distinct enough personally. But both are amazing. Danae I didn’t get sickly sweet, I just love the dry down on that. Baccio is nice, very Tuscan leather. Sacred flame is a bangerrrr, I can’t wait to see how it wears in cooler weather
@FoodnFragrances I find Danae and Fall Of Phaeton to be similar. I own FOP and had samples of Danae. To me it would be a redundant purchase. I prefer Fall Of Phaeton.
Danae is my favorite, followed very closely by Triumph of Bacchus. I truly think all of Argos fragrances are for the more experienced fragrance folk because it takes a bit of patience to truly appreciate their beauty. They overdose some of the top notes to make them more present in the drydown. The opening tends to be incredibly potent, almost too rich, and I've seen so many comments saying they're "cough syrup bombs" without realizing how masterfully Christian had to craft them. I've noticed it with everything I have tried from the house. They know how to craft something that is 100% meant to be enjoyed for the last 8 hours, rather than just smelling nice up front. I need to sample Nemean Lion, now that I have a couple full bottles already.
That’s a really good take on it, I do agree, that’s what I thought about Danae, and as I continued into the dry down, I couldn’t get enough of how beautiful it was. I really love this house
Definitely sample both and see what vibe you’re trying to get out of it. Love triumphs over war is very beautiful, sentimental, delicate, date night worthy. I think sacred flame is phenomenal for cooler weather and more universal to wear
You should check out the offerings from The Perfumist if you haven't already. Presentation is nothing like Argos, but exclusivity and quality is unmatched IMO. Ancient Alchemy, Divine Intervention, Silk Road, Spice Route. Last but not least CAM Remarkable from their Attar line.
Yeah? I’ll take a look at them brother, thank you for the suggestions. I’ve recently gotten into artisanal fragrances and I’m in loveeeeee. Hella expensive, but worth every drop
@FoodnFragrances it was enough to make me say whenever I see it I'll order a decant on fragrance swap new to the cologne game so I'm going to try decants until I find stuff I really want. A lot of clones out here smelling good I'm trying not to over indulge on cheap stuff only
@@mr.kinsey6249 that’s the way to do it man. Honestly, 3-5ml decants are the way to go, it gives you enough wears to either say, yeahhhh this is the one, or it’s good, but let’s see what else is out there. I hope you enjoy it though, but being new to the game, lmao that one will definitely be a challenge
How would you compare Triumph of Bacchus to sometjing like Naxos? I personally dont like “boozy” style fragrances or ones that have a honey sweetness because it is headache inducing, which is why i cant wear Naxos
They are completely different. There is no honey in Bacchus. Bacchus is a really nice blend of Peach + tobacco + rum + vanilla. This gives it a very boozy tone which is not as sweet as it sounds. Naxos is sickly sweet in comparison to Bacchus.
Personally I can’t stand Naxos. Triumph of Bacchus has a wonderful peach note that is noticeable but gets balanced with a nice rum note that isn’t punchy. Very smooth like a lot of Argos fragrances. The tobacco is a little bit of a background note mainly for blend. Brings in that slight bitter woodiness, but you have the other sweeter elements that balance each other out. This over Naxos anyyyyy day of the week

Haha, honestly the 30ml would have not done it for me. It’s really that good :). Thank you so much for dropping by and checking the video
Thank you so much for the detailed video. Appreciate the love and Support 🙏🙏♥️♥️♥️
My pleasure! What a wonderful house with such beautiful fragrances. Can’t wait to try the new releases!

Great thorough overview👌🏼
Thank you brother! I’m glad you enjoyed it. Have you smelled some of the Argos?
Great overview
Thank you! 🙏🏽
Well done.
Thank you! 🙏🏽
This is great, I’m struggling if I want Sacred Flame and love triumphs over war.
Ouffff to me, I enjoy love triumphs over war more. But it is a bit more delicate. Sacred flame is very nice, but the experience is different
Definitely sample both and see what vibe you’re trying to get out of it. Love triumphs over war is very beautiful, sentimental, delicate, date night worthy.
I think sacred flame is phenomenal for cooler weather and more universal to wear
Triumph Of Bacchus Extrait
Adonis Awakens
Fall Of Phaeton
are my favorites from Argos. I will always have those 3 in my collection.
Amazing list, I haven’t tried the extrait yet. Have you tried sacred flame?
@FoodnFragrances I purchased Sacred Flame during the initial release. I've had it since August 19th.
@@Kemon- that one is another great release too, can’t wait for the new ones to drop

Front Yard Duece Juice aka Namean Lion lol gotta get a sample of this
😂 😂😂 I literally went back to see if I said that lmao. But honestly it’s soooo good

all this argos are long lasting?
Honestly yeah, I’d find the pour Homme pour femme to be the least longest lasting, but the rest are very nice wearings that last long
Please add timestamps. Thank you!
You got it, I’ll do it up tomorrow!
@@FoodnFragrances Appreciated! Its a great video! Subbed!
