Gyasi I just secured my first job as a software engineer, Thank you for your inspiration man!
Congrats man
Congratulations, share your tips please
Awesome 👏🏾 Congratulations!
Congrats family... that's great news.
Congrats man
It's so helpful to learn about the design process (colors, wire-framing, layout, design) from a technical perspective - helps me understand the why a bit more :D
just wanted to let you know that your vids kept me motivated to keep looking for a tech job and I finally got one! thank you for your content!
I love that you went to CSS tricks to remember that, I feel good knowing that you can have a job and still need to check some things. I would love a part 2!
My reaction time to support the homies is unparalleled 😤✊🏾
I appreciate it bro congrats on 45K!!
Always like and sub to black tech channelz ✊🏿
Hallo gyasi am doing html and css bit theres somewhere am not understanding can we talk via email if you mind?
First time on your channel with this video and you already have a new sub. Loved your explanations and you showing and going through your process from designing to coding.
I'm a Graphic Designer and I recently started into Front End so it was a breath of fresh air to watch you as most of the content producers either show one or the other, not both design and coding together.
Keep it up, I'll be looking forward to watch more videos and I'll be checking your previous ones too.
This is my 3rd day as a 'self-taught' currently doing html...it's a bit tough but I'm not giving up I need all the motivation I can get it's my first time on your channel and I'm already hooked. Thanks a bunch!
Me to bro my 2nd day doing html by myself 😭💪🏾
It’s been a month since both of you posted this… how is it going a month later?
Same…
html isnt really a programming language, but a markup language but hope youre doing well
Yes I’m week 2 from a Linux background and I like it way better lol
Thanks for the cross-section into the life of. I'm pumped that there are positions in Software development that leverage creativity.
Another great video! Thanks for the content man! Happy to see another designer/developer! 💪🏾
Awesome video, inspires me to keep working on my side projects. Thank you!
thank you so much for this video!!!! I am a beginner coder, brand new. I've been working on a free code camp javascript lesson and plan to do as much I can there. There is a huge mystique about coding and a lot of the "day in the life of a coder" videos don't do much to pull the veil back. I really appreciate how you broke down your day in detail, and described what you were actually doing. It is massively helpful for someone knew. Subscribed!
Absolutely fire content! Extremely beneficial to understand design from a technical viewpoint! Great video as always Gyasi :) Waiting for part 2!
I enjoyed watching this video. I'm definitely waiting for the second part !
I love you videos bro. It keeps me motivated to know I will make it in life. Today marks my 27th bday and I’m happy to be in the tech industry building my future. Keep up the good content and stay blessed 🙏🏾
Aesthetic videos, aesthetic setup - I can't wait to see how aesthetic your timer will turn out to be! 🤩
Thank you so much I really appreciate it!
Love the cinematic effects on your videos and intros!
I’m a new dev out of Cincinnati, started react 4/5 months ago and I love this content! Would be awesome to ha e a part two!
Im new here up at 7am in the morning learning about my art career. Im going to a technical school for graphic design buts its the quality and patience on being a creator. So thank you from this inspiration.
Being an Agile Coach, I love how you throw bits of Agile into your videos.
Man bro that’s awesome, it’s not too many of us in this field. Awesome video bro 🙌🏼
Would love more vids like this. Loved it bro.
A part two would be awesome! I’m taking a boot camp on front-end development and this video was very encouraging to help me keep going! Thanks a bunch!
How’s it going so far
@@jafaralmusawi8680 It's going really great! I'm almost at the end and making steady progress. Thanks for asking and loving your content!
@@rachelbillings6335 How about now? :)
You really need to give us part 2. Amazing video as always.
This was really helpfull! Thanks a lot!
Love the videos bro 💯
Part two please! This was a great video🙏🏼
Yep. Waiting for part 2 bro. Thx!!
I start my computer programming class tomorrow!! I’m so nervous but I love your channel 😁
How did it go overall?
@@WilliamDailyReacts it’s going great we’ve learned CSS, HTML, how to make a bunch of different stuff like floating divs and how different languages work and it’s overall just really cool
Love these videos bro
Good stuff thanks for this!
Glad I came across this while considering a career change and also glad to see the classic Mclaren F1 art on the wall!
Thanks Gyasi learn a lot from you.
As someone who has worked on front end / UX design since the late 90s (now branching out to children’s illustration, video and 3D) this video got me curious. First, that’s a lovely setup you’ve got. I did major in graphic design so doing both design AND coding was always a natural for me and didn’t realize how rare that skill set was for a long time. Now after so many years at this I’m yearning to switch to other creative outlets… but you’re young. Front end development now is better than ever. Enjoy the ride. :)
I've been learning illustration and textile design, I was about to try doing it self employed but rising costs have made me wonder whether to retrain as a UI UX designer. I love textile design and illustration but I'm not sure if I could make enough money to live on it.
cool bro ..your videos reallly encourages...keeep it up
Part two, please. Great video! 🔥
Placing a screen share during the coding chapter would have been dope too!
agreed!
For a second I almost forgot this was a frontend day of a life and thought I watching a tech gadget review
Anyone watching this in 2024
Yes thinking of taking a coding boot camp. Any thoughts?
Finally a day in the life video that actually shows you what is happening, what you’re coding!!!
Awesome video !!!!
Part 2. This video is sick!
Always great content even if it’s over my head lol 🔥🤗🙌🏾🙌🏾
Hands up for Part 2 🙌🏿
Haven’t learnt javascript yet so that least bit was alien to me. This project sounds fun and i would def want to see the final thing
This was so good
This is Dave from Hong Kong, you inspire me a lot on planning a project, give you double thumb
As someone looking to pivot industries into software/IT, this was really helpful! I'm just about to begin learning JavaScript and I'm surprised how creative this type of job can actually be, even if the coding is a big learning curve for me. New subscriber :)
How are you finding it? What industry are you coming from
Love these types of videos
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank for your sharing , Your are my journey
Can't wait for you to reach 100k subs
Please do more content like This ❤️
nice desk setup
lovely content biggest.
Thanks bro 👍
To achieve more try achieving small goals than eating all the pie. Part 2 needed 🙏🙏
I definitely want a part 2! I see that it’s not bad at all to have some designing skills as a frontend engineer. What are the best resources to learn how to properly design apps/websites? Thanks for your video!
Commenting so I can see his reply
This is a good video for that: ua-cam.com/video/0JCUH5daCCE/v-deo.html
And following this guy also helps: ua-cam.com/users/DesignCourse
@@tzlukoma I’ll check it out, thanks!
I’m down for a part 2!
When you have super wide screen, but the whole VS Code is spread to max width and you constantly look to the left :D
Thank goodness the day of a frontend software engineer can involve coffee in the morning else I would have gone a different path
Great job
That sponsor was fit in so nicely.
Coffee is life …pumpkin spice creamer for the fall time
i love it
you should drop more videos 🙏 like every Mondays or something like that.
Mans living the dream
MVP 💯 💯 💯
almost at a 100k lesgo
aamzing video
Bonus point for having Lewis Hamilton on your wall !
Everyone does the coffee b-roll in every day in the life video I notice.
I'd love to watch this live on Twitch
Consider showing your code with your voice over description. As oppossed to just a voice over and you working.
Make the content more understandable
You should start considering TailwindCSS for faster styling
This is so helpful :) thanks a lot :) I was thinking about something to ask you , what is different between front end engineer & developer ?
Also how to go from developer to engineer in the front end path ? :-)
Keep up the good work and respect to you
What Camara Lens did you used in this video bro? Great video by the way the tips are great!
Hi Gyasi, love your video man, I find myself getting stuck in the design phase waaaay to long and then I forget about the logic that I need to use for the project. Have you encountered that and if so what did you do to go around that? Better yet, I get so stuck on the perfect font, color, font size, border-radius, icons... you know what I mean. Its hard to get past that point because Im a perfectionist and its not always a virtue.
We need a part 2
I really relate to not remembering what axis justify & align work on. I swear I google it for every project lol
I took a ux Ui bootcamp, now I’m debating doing a full stack bootcamp. I know it’s going to be difficult. I think I’m going to do it though.
I am a full stack developer but I always enjoyed front end more than working on spring boot. May be I should just become a full time front end developer.
And then on TOP OF THAT YOURE A LEWIS HAMILTON FAN 😮💨😮💨 MY FAV UA-camR OF ALL TIME HANDS DOWN 😂👌🏾👌🏾
Really cool!!!
I was curious is it common for professionals to use figma? For a layout and code around that?
Or are any other programs used instead of just HTML
Yo bro, what camera do you use? you get dope shots in your videos
Part 2 plz!!!
PART 2 for sure!
high quality life
This is so unbelievable for someone who knows nothing but construction working since school.
Im currently trying to study to front end development but i always ask myself: when does the actual "working" start?
And by the looks of it...this is prety much it. Talking to the customer, collegues and then code for 4 hours.
Full day of... Logitech Logitech logitech
👍👍
Part 2 please
Part 2!!!
what oversize tshirts do you wear man, the white and brown one are mint
I'm currently a senior in high school and I'm currently working on college applications. I've only recently been watching a lot of software engineering content on UA-cam and doing a lot of research on it, and I believe the benefits of this job are totally worth it. I want to major in Computer Science, but the issue is, I don't have any knowledge when it comes to computers or programming. Would this be an issue? Should it stop me from pursuing CS? Great video by the way, I appreciate your content a lot.
CS is hard. Take your time in classes and be comfortable with not knowing everything. You'll have to do a lot of self teaching as well. Go for it!
part 2!
I’m interested in getting into this career field but I’m not sure it fits my personality type.
hour work 45 minutes break broken up! Like clockin in to a 8hour 9 to 5... KewL!!
What app do you use to get the position of where you want your txt or border to be, I need the help for a project
Hello! I am currently learning Go Lang. Do you think I have a future here. I also wanted to be a front end dev at first and now I don't know where I am going
Will knowing web design help junior frontend devs stand out when applying for a position?
Lol sometimes I just make my wife coffee even when she doesn’t ask/want just cause i love the smell 😂🤣
Im a mix of a ui ux dev and design. Recently graduates with an IT degree with a focus on web dev and design. And i dont know what to focus on. I love desiging a button but through code not through figma so much i enjoy design softwares but not as much as front end coding im thinking to do my masters in software engineering would this enable me more to get a role in front end development?
Do front end devs at bigger companies get to design a bit?
