How did you create the threads for the throttle cable on the LED controls?
I had to use a burr bit on a dremel to make the hole a little bit bigger on the switch controls where the trottle cable goes ,once I did that ,I got a hex nut that matches the threats of the throttle cable and I round off the edges using a file , once I got the nut about the same size as the hole on the switch controls I used some JB weld ( is a two part epoxy) a put some jb weld on the nut and I pressed it into the switch controls, I had to let it dry for about a day and after I just installed the throttle cable and everything worked out perfectly
