Haha, very cool! I've always seen that asset on the store and wondered about its capabilities. Thank you for this video, it's informative and entertaining!
Finally a new video, just what I was waiting for!!
Haha thanks, I must admit my upload frequency isn't the best 😂
@@sketch3436 ya
This man didn't know recreating Zbrush in Unity was impossible, so he did it.
Sir i wait wait ...........and wait your video. Amazing video
Thanks 😊
nice work, what materials did you use? were they from the asset store? if so wold you happen to have a link?
nice
Thanks!
Very Nice :D keep It up!
Thanks 😊
Awesome
Thanks 😊
As Digger user there is something I do not understand: with Digger you can only paint on terrain surfaces, how do you paint in the mixamo character (it is not a terrain objetct)? or ar you only following the shape of the body?
Yeah I was only using the mixamo character as a guide, so by making the material transparent, I could see if I was within the character mesh or not as I was building up the terrain.
@@sketch3436 Thanks for replying. The idea is brilliant mate
@@sketch3436 does it work right in 2018.4
@@pureay2700 I haven't tested it in that version so I'm not to sure, however, there should be a supported versions info on the store page
@@sketch3436 thx for the reply. Now im just wondering if the nav mesh works properly on versions before 2019.3 and if it eas performance intensive because my project is for the oculus quest wich runs on android. Just wond ere ing before i buy because its on sale. And was wondering if the ingame digging is worth 15 extra dollars
Nice. And pls make a country side level design:)
Thanks, also thanks for the suggestion 😊
Amazing!
Thanks 😊

Hello :) I have a school project where we are going to make a game. I want to use unity and inspiration from your beautiful and amazing landscape nature scene tutorials. Do you have any tips for what the game can be about? Like what to do in the game and not that advanced because Im not that good with C# coding.
Looking forward to hear from you :)

Why not try a split-screen multiplayer racing game?
If you wanna go cheap, you can move the car by adding relative force to front or back, and turn the car by rotating the car.
And since it's multiplayer, you don't have to think about creating opponent AI. And since it's split-screen, you don't need to worry about the online elements.
The only downside is, you have to optimize the heck out of it (if it's split screen, since double the rendering for double the camera requires double the processing). Otherwise, it's a win-win for everyone.
I subscribed this is cool
Thanks!
Can't you do exactly just that with the new terrain tools of unity ? Looks like it ! (and it's free)
Not quite, in the new terrain system, you can now cut holes which is amazing but the holes just lead into the void since all it is doing is just not rendering a particular section of the terrain, whereas, the digger asset continues the terrain as you dig the hole.
So if you just want to create caves I would stick with standard Unity, cause you can always make the walls using rock models. But, if you want more complex terrain formations like arches etc than you may want to look into digger.
@@sketch3436 Oh ok, fair enough. Thanks for the advice
sir plz regular upload videos.
Trust me I would love to do that, but the combination of school and work makes it hard to find time to work on the channel, hopefully, in the future I can dedicate more time to the channel 😊
is Digger compatible with navmesh?
For Unity 2019.3 and above navmesh should work
@@sketch3436 does it not work for 2018?
Where can i get that 3D human model at the beginning?
The 3d model at the start is from the site mixamo.com its a great place for finding characters and animations.
@@sketch3436 Thank you! :D i just discovered your channel and i'm amazed.
Can you make a video on how to make gta police car system mainly that screen in police car that call back up
Thanks for the suggestion I'll be sure to note it down :)
@@sketch3436 thanks for responding plz make on
Why you don't want to create your own game? And you can make dev logs
I have wanted to work on some larger projects, however, I just don't have the time to commit to any of them. I have thought of doing smaller game series though that similar to the follow-along tutorials
@@sketch3436 yeah, the time is an important factor, I hope in the future you will try to do a larger project:)
any tutorial how to reskin environment with another asset in 3d game
Do you mean like auto texturing for the terrain?
well im convinced, better bust out the wallet and get it now
There's no need of zbrush anymore boys
How to get digger for free?
Impossible! It is unreal yet it’s Unity lol
