cool! curios, I have no experience using microwave frequencies, what kind of distance can be covered using that high of a frequency? been a licensed operator since 2019.
Thanks for checking it out! I'm still very new to the microwave bands, but these contacts were going across Lake Ontario into Canada, so likely 100+ miles as the crow flies. There's a lot of factors, such as power (usually just a few hundred milliwatts) and antenna, but also location and elevation. This park was chosen because of it's go a good path to southern Ontario, where there's a lot of microwave enthusiasts, like here in WNY.
