Indeed, Lugia was everything u could ever want from a Mystic Legendary. It was Powerful and Menacing in battle but gentle and inteligent outside of battle. It was a force of nature and its guardian at the same time. The Song represents the calm and gentle side with a fierce undertone letting u know that there still is a demigod lurking under that nice face. Lugia is my Favorite Legendary even above Mewtwo when it comes to the entire Package. Mewtwo is tragic and amazing while Lugia is Majestic and truly truly Legendary.

He had an entire prophecy and folklore around him, a tribe revering him, a song written for him. His first appearance was also completely hyped for a big part of the movie, built-up nicely up to an amazing revelation and through his small screen time, he had a nice character development. He was also the 4th pokemon back then to be able to speak, which was quite rare and made him even more memorable. To me, he will always be THE legendary pokemon.

So many years have passed since it was released and yet there are ppl who create their own versions of it. Now that truly shows what LEGENDARY stands for! I think what made Lugia so epic in that film was that they teased it so much and then BAM there they were in all there magnificent glory. This song for me is as Iconic for Pokémon as the OG Theme song. 3rd for me would then be Brother my Brother from Mewtwo Strikes back

I remember back when I was a child and I first watched the movie and heard this song it brought tears to my eyes. Up to this day as an adult Lugia remains my first favourite Legendary Pokemon among all others. Another favourite music piece of mine is Oracion from the Rise of Darkrai.

I didn't grow up with Pokemon as a big part of my childhood. It existed and I knew about it, but I was always more of a Digimon kid. But there is no denying that there were some fantastic moments along its journey over all these years, and this is a beautiful rendition of this iconic track. Wonderful work

Greymon vs Parotmon was hype and Omnimon vs Diaboromon was one for the records, but the moment this song was played in Lugia's time of need and just seeing how much impact playing that song had on not just the environment but the people and pokemon as well. Well that just hits differently.
I was both. Frontier was my favorite digimon series. Pokemon lost it's shine after gen three for me. I only recently took a new found interest because my four year old is hooked.

I loved both but Pokemon more for the Game and Digimon more for the TV Show. I still liked the Pokemon Series and the Movies but the Digimon Show with the continuing PLot and its big Kaiju Fights was so much more appealing for 12 Year old me. I even used to build Digivices out of Lego and play with my little Brother in our Garden Digimon Frontier.
The greatest legendary psuedo-dragon! Lightly flapping its wings can blow away buildings. Heavy flapping of its wings can cause a category 6 storm that can last over 30 days long. 😢 That's why it chooses to stay dormant in ocean depths, where it doesn't accidentally cause destruction...
This song always made me emotional but even more so now that Ralph Schuckett, one of the composers for this and a composer for Pokémon in the early 2000's (including this movie) died in 2021. RIP
I can honestly say that this is an absolutely beautiful arrangement of this song. I can’t lie and not say hearing this song always makes me cry but in a good way. This and the original are so beautiful. Lugia has been my favorite pokemon since I saw this movie as a kid. It just shows that this Pokémon can be very calm and docile, but when threatened he won’t hold back and I can relate when it comes to my family and friends. I’ve even talked to my fiancée and she said she would down the aisle to this song, but after hearing this rendition….I have to use this version. Again absolutely beautiful man!!!

Amazingly done. One of the best pieces of music from the Pokemon world. Lugia is in the top three of my favorite Legendary Pokemon, and always will be. Even though it receives no love that much anymore it is some memorable to me, because I saw 2000 in theaters, and the reveal of Lugia was incredible and has always stuck with me. Oh Nostalgia! This song really made Pokemon 2000 something special. It sounds so mystical and powerful and was integrated in the story in such a meaningful way. This is fantastic cover.

OMGosh i loved to hear this song! It is so epic... was always in my thoughts and tried to imagine how to be a part of the orchestra (played at this time saxophone, i was like 12 years old... now i'm 33 :D)
Glory to whichever composer made the tune. This version made me remember all those early days of 2001/2, when Pokemon was broadcast in my country. It had stopped, but I came back to Pokemon later. A world for those who don't feel at home in reality.

Ça traduit vraiment magnifiquement l'âme et le cœur purs, sans tâches de Sacha notamment et aussi, de certains pokemons particuliers comme Mew, Lugia, les 3 des lacs, Keldeo...qui ne se montrent qu'aux cœurs et âmes purs.❤❤

I always loved lugia and has been my favorite legendary pokemon and this theme fits lugia perfectly.
Glory to whichever composer made the tune. This version made me remember all those early days of 2001/2, when Pokemon was broadcast in my country. It had stopped, but I came back to Pokemon later. A world for those who don't feel at home in reality.
The original is by John Loefflerv & Ralph Schuckett. Ralph sadly passed away in 2021, but his music will live on forever.🙏
