Hi, Lorraine. I recently heard the Bessie Smith version. I was amazed at the sexuality. I first heard it done by Nina Simone on a cassette I still have. It was great to finally get round to learning it. We’re all doing well. Khushman is now 11 and has just started secondary school. He’s all excited about it. That’ll wear off soon.
