I have been cooking Armenian foods for a few months now and you are by far the easiest to follow. I love all your videos and your a expert chef. I will be making this recipe next
my grandmother would also put a pat of butter or cheese inside. the butter ones were great, when you bite into it the melted butter would ooze out!!! oh so good!!!
it looks delicious! for the vegetarian version you can use the bulgur, and potato or the same grain you'd use for the harissa and whatever filling you desire 💗
Very good video. We make them differently (everyone does), but the technique was excellent. Whenever grandma made them, she saved half of them so we could eat them raw too. Thanks for this.

Mano Smith interesting, there's a dish in Armenia cuisine , sautéed greens stuffed pumpkin and bulgur kofta ( kololak), I'm planning on making a video soon, just the way you described, can I ask where are you from ? Thank you:)
Hi heghineh I am Lebanese but I live in Canada. we used to eat the pumpkin kibbeh in Lebanon during lent specially in the spring we didn't use spinach though we used different greens that they grow wild everywhere especially in the mountains. My best friend's mom back home is Armenian she is the best cook I ever met. Glad I found your channel I am enjoying watching your videos and love how spontaneous your videos are showing how home cooks with kids are in real life. keep the good work.
love the video... please try it with 7 spice next time for better and traditional taste of kubbeh, there is also another 5 spices included but not necessity .....levant appetizers are always complimented with many spices
This is a joke, right? She’s Armenian. Whatever YOUR family preferences, I hardy think it would be more “traditional”. Sheesh lady get a grip on yourself. Have you ever tried making American meatloaf? Ask anyone what is authentic. She’s so nice to even answer your snarky comment.
а повытыкаться ? ))))) и тем кто благодарит , понимающих только по английски :))) и вправду , уважаемый автор а мы как отсталые дураки промаргали глазами и ничего не поняли :(
