Elisabetta, thank you so much for this success story! I have been on it for almost 1 years and still you gave me hope that I will be able to sit like a normal person again and enjoy the pleasures of life! Although they found multiple Tarlov cysts on my sacrum, I chose the mind body journey over the medical one! I will get there one day at the time!
Thanks so much for this success story. I am 6 months in, and definitely at the frustration stage she talked about! I appreciated hearing about a longer healing journey
Thank you for posting this. I do understand why it’s called a mind body success story but at the same time, not having the diagnosis labels in the title or description might make it harder for people to find these when they are searching with their labels in the search bar and they they may not come across it. , I also feel I am less drawn in when I can’t find that there’s a diagnosis written that I’m looking for. Just a thought!
It's one of my favorite success story. I listened more than 3 time. It takes work to deal with the ups and downs. A rash on my skin or a new symptom alarms me again after totally pain-mind-free for 2-3 weeks. The way the brain works still shocking me. How can I eliminate a symptom and send a new one? Crazy... I've come a long way; ups and downs are part of this journey. I believe that. Thank you so much Elisabetta!
Wonderful story! My story is very, very similar. I think I recognize Elisabetta from the TMSWIKI? My TMS began in the SIJ also. Scary stuff! We got our lives back, Elisabetta!
Excellent interview, with so many useful details about the journey. Such good observations and advice. Congratulations and thank you Elisabetta and Jim.
Great discussion. Very insightful. I can see a lot of this applying to the long covid, mecfs, fibro, chronic pathogens and gi issues. It all overlaps. Dnrs and primal trust and Gupta ID this as a misfiring/crosswired limbic aka tms. Same condition under a different name.
Thank you for sharing your experiences with us! I do have a question about TMS Symptoms, Can TMS cause physical swelling and inflammation in nerves in the limbs and joints such as the knees, legs and elbows?
Wow! What a wonderful success story and I so needed it this morning. Thanks so much to both of you for taking the time to encourage all of us for TMS that we can do this, in fact, we aren’t doing it right now.(Peggy)
Thank you all for your kind words and Jim for making this happen. I am here and happy to reply and help if you have questions about my journey😊

So helpful! I especially appreciated the descriptions of the different stages she went through in regaining her health. And the emotional discovery.
Very happy for her.
This is the best pelvic pain TMS success story I’ve heard to date. Some wonderful analogies and explanations. Thanks to both of you 💕
I am here if you need any other info or detail 😊
Yes I agree completely, when she talks about feeling like you are an exception and may not get better 😔
