So fun! The first thing I’ve made with air dry clay was a project with my daughter for her 3rd grade store. We made pencil toppers. She did most of the work! Quite a little artist ❤
My first air dry creation was a gnome. I had been painting by numbers for a while but was running out of room, I looked at other crafts, and pottery spoke to me. Didn't want to start small, so I opted for a gnome. Since then, I've made 3 big ones and 2 little ones
Thanks so much, we couldn't agree more! She's really an inspiration to all crafters and young business people looking to turn what they love into a career 💪
Loving the pott’d cast guys! Really cool discussion with tips and tricks for clay work and for life as well - will be sharing Frankie’s confidence hack with my son as he’s starting secondary school later this year, so this will be helpful for him to hear 😊 I’m not sure if this was my first journey into the air dry clay world, but this is a very early recollection when I was growing up in the 90’s. My mum used to collect gargoyles, and being the sweetheart that I am, I decided I would make her one to add to the collection. Lovely idea, poor execution… it came out looking like a mutant horse 🙈
Thanks so much, so happy to have you here! That makes our hearts so happy to hear, best of luck to your son with his new venture into secondary school, he's got the whole of Team Pott'd behind him! We LOVE a clay nostalgia story, even better when they go a bit wrong 🤭 that's the beautiful thing with any clay creation, the effort and sentiment always radiates through, and you can try again next time! We don't believe in failure, there's beauty in not quite achieving something as you'd envisioned it, as it always teaches a lesson! 🌟
