Hey Tom, I am 14 and this is my 5th year in lawn care. I started watching your videos about 10 months ago and you have really inspired me to go out and try new kinds of outdoor work. Keep up the great content
I’m 14 I did lawn care for 2 years wasn’t my thing I’ve switched to property maintenance I tear down sheds put gravel driveways in etc and run a decently large snow removal business with 3 subcompact/garden tractors in the winter
Hi Tom, really enjoyed this mowing video. The drone footage and music were great. The banter you include between the guys always keeps the videos interesting.
Tom, your videos are awesome!! I run a small landscaping company in Chicago. Only run 2 trucks and I must admit it’s my dream to be where you are today. Your company is the perfect model of a successful company in our industry. Do you have any tips you can leave me on how I can grow my business?
@@lawn-order yes because mowing is reoccurring revenue. Mowing may not be where most of the money is but it’s constant work you can mostly count on unless your in a drought like us in Ohio lol
Great Content Man! I just started my own UA-cam channel regarding lawn care. I was wondering what app do you use to edit your videos? And do you record w GoPro?
So I got a question why are some of your trucks gas and some diesel is it because of what they are used for. What was your mind set when building your fleet?
Tom, I live in Rhode Island, I have started to run my own landscaping business for the past 5 years, I now have about 20 accounts. I don't have a trailer yet, so I run my business out of my pickup truck. I am going to get an old chevy work van from my neighbor that is a carpenter. it has a beat up old utility body, I'm going to take that bed off and put a flatbed on it and put wooden side boards on it.
For your commercial properties do you include your bed maintenance in mowing price or separate? I’ve always afforded monthly bed maintenance just curious how others take take of it
Because he employees people to do work for him. Besides that I’m sure he gets his hand dirty plenty of times when he’s checking in on his guys. He’s gotta be out there selling jobs to keep his guys busy that’d be kind of hard if he was running a crew all day everyday. He’s lucky to have solid crews and crew leader like he does. Having issues with one guy isn’t bad when probally having 10 or more guys.
