It took 2 month to fix every wiring issue of my 550 cb ss....it was my first attempt on doing something like that.
I'm still proud of me even after watching that you did the same thing in less then one afternoon 😂😂😂
    Cheers from Italy! ⚡️⚡️⚡️

Great work! I've had my power probe for about two years. Every time I take it out, I'm rocked for how great that tool is. I also ordered the electrical auto diagnostic shop book from the same designer. absolutely great for diagnostic work. Both auto electrical theory and trouble shooting in one. Get it. Thanks again.

What are you saying how did he know the dude's running through it on his own bike to show you how you can do it on yours not because he had some assumption that many people out there have bikes that are older than 2003 2004 and most of which all could use new wiring harnesses yet they just don't f****** produce those damn harnesses for us anymore which is an absolute f****** s*** show but that's the only way they can keep us getting new bikes is by not making parts for the old ones anymore sad I had to learn that on a 01 LS650 Savage cuz I've got a motor issue and can't get the m************ belt off because it's belt driven of course don't want to drop the f****** rear tire can't take the nut off the belts pulling the mother f***** is just straight up seized on there can't heat it from this side the pulley is some kind of hardened plastic that would melt so basically I have to drop the tire or cut the f****** belt but either way the beginning of what I said it still remains true he was doing this because he knows most people out there have older bikes and this is normally a common issue with older bikes is some kind of electrical systems not working due to the wiring

Hey bro, need some tips on possible wiring problem. I have no tester so, yeah.
My bike has power but neither push starting nor kick starting has any responses like a totally turned off bike. I tried jump starting through the starter relay and it started but it needs constant revving to hold its power, if you let go of the throttle the engine dies. I heard some electric cliking noise under the gas tank. So, any thoughts about this? Thank you!

I've got a Yamaha that had a intermittent start problem..take off your throttle handle assemble..look closely at the internals to start switch..theres a tab that is supposed to touch the handle bar to complete the start circuit..bend that tab up just a bit so it makes positive contact to handle bar..also look where this assemble mounts to handle bar..sand off the paint from the handle bar ..assemble ...should start right up ..
      Good luck...

    • @ClassicOctane

I would hook up the battery correctly then just look for power and see where it stops. Most likely you just blew a fuse or caused a short somewhere.

@6:22 you "throw" power (apply +12V) to the white wire. Very dangerous if you start putting 12V on to a ground wire which the headlight connector clearly has. You should have a big caution when using that feature of this tool. I don't have this tool so I am not sure what it does when you connect its +12V to ground - perhaps it has a protection circuit built in and displays a nice warning or tone. Regardless, still a bad idea to creating short circuits.
