The modding scene for STALKER is honestly insane. If you're ever interested in trying them out; I highly recommend starting with the original games first.
@@Stray-Dog-Gaming Do you need to buy and play all 3 of the original games before you can install and use Anomaly, or Gamma? I only have the 1st game now, SoC.
Time to take a trip down good ole memory lane 😅 I played Stalker when I was studying at varsity - back in 2007/2008!! I think on an X Box. My mates and I were crazy about the game back then. This is great mate 👊🏼🍻🍻💪🏾
That's awesome, and very cool to hear you played STALKER. The original games are incredible, and from the showcasing that I've seen of STALKER 2, it's looking really good.
I have a Ryzen 5 7600x with a Radeon RX 7900 GRE, and 32GB of RAM. Also, the game is on a NVMe M.2 4th Gen SSD. I play at 1440p on about 85 to 95 fps, but Certain areas (Rostok) will drop fps to about 70, sometimes 60. Keep in mind that this was on an older version of the mod, and certain graphical/performance issues still needed fine tuning.
Are you talking about my HUD having that glass like appearance at the corners of the screen? If so, that is the mask overlay, because I have a helmet on.
@@macguy34 that happens due to the lighting a lot of the times. the godrays and what not tend to give a sillouhette to the character model. it's a limitation of the engine with all these graphical enhancements. look at shadow of chernobyl vanilla gameplay and compare it to this, you'll understand a bit better why somethings dont look the way they should like it might in modern games.
I was just thinking about Stalker 2 the other day, and wondering if it would release in November (hopefully) as intended. Then your video popped up! How random is that? This is so cool.
The mods make the game look very good, Ive never played it but it looks really cool

No, not at all. Anomaly/GAMMA are standalone, so you can just go grab them and play.
Good hunting, Stalker! :) This looks absolutely amazing. Can't believe how good an old game can look with a great mod. Bring it on!!
Haha very nice! Agreed, what the modding community can do is actually crazy impressive. Thanks for watching.
@@Stray-Dog-Gaming I really enjoy watching your videos :)
That's awesome to hear! Thank you for all the support.

What’s your in game settings? This looks beautiful
Well, I use the default settings in-game, and I didn't change anything. Everything is as the mod comes on a fresh install.
What is your hardware? How many fps are you getting?

What's with the dark halo around the character model???

@@Stray-Dog-Gaming nah man. When you glance down twords your arms they both have a noticeable black silhouette.
Okay, please give me a time-stamp to the exact video point that this occurs.
