I know the show fired the actor and everything but I would just love to see Hotch again as well as Jack!

Will is so hot 😂 the actor is from my state too, not that far away actually, so I’ve always been a fan of his because of how he has supported our state (like how Jennifer Garner did as well since she is also from WV and held a fundraiser during this massive flood we had that caused a lot of damages and deaths). It’s nice to see successful celebs who never forget where they came from.
@@dianad6090 Towards the end of the show the writers just chose for JJ to admit to Reid (by force from a serial killer btw) that she loves him but they both chose not to pursue anything because JJ loves Will, her husband, and has two children and JJ and Spencer Reid have a close, strong and loving friendship. This whole “drama” lasted like 2-3 episodes. There was never even a fight between JJ and Will and it was implied that JJ told Will about it and he was understanding (this happens during a hospital scene where JJ nearly died an episode or two after her love confession, JJ and Reid also settle the awkwardness and get over it during JJ’s hospital scene). Fans definitely expected more and thought they were going to actually kiss or SOMETHING but nothing ever happened. I will say in the beginning of the series for an episode or two, Reid had a crush on JJ but nothing came of that. The writers were doing different things in the beginning before really establishing the characters. JJ and Reid have one of the closest bonds on the show. By the end of the series, JJ is still happily married to Will and they have two sons together and Reid is barely/kind of has a love interest (portrayed by Rachel Leigh Cook) at the end of the series but I don’t believe she was even in the final episode or mentioned but I’m not positive. They kissed and she became involved in a case unfortunately and her son was also in danger as a result simply by the fact that she was casually dating Reid so that kind of ruined their romance but they kissed after that I believe (and it was hinted that she was going to give Reid another chance). This drama with her being in danger and her son happened because a recurring villain, a female serial killer named Cat (brilliantly portrayed by Aubrey Plaza) had taken them hostage (there’s A LOT that happens with Reid and Cat, she literally set him up for murder and he nearly died in prison as an example and they had some great chemistry and Reid I think had a dark part of him that wanted Cat and they did make out VERY intensely during one of Cat’s schemes she pulled on Reid. I think Aubrey Plaza’s character weirdly had the best chemistry even though she was a serial killer and ended up being executed on death row but by that point Reid hated her deeply after she set him up for murder and after she kidnapped Reid’s MOTHER (who is schizophrenic and in a mental facility) so by that point Reid was done with her. So basically, Reid has had so much horrible crap happen to his character and never really got a love interest aside from Maeve but I can’t even talk about how devastating that storyline was. I will never rewatch that episode again (titled “Zugzwang” by the way in case you haven’t watched the show). This is probably a jumbled and confusing mess so I apologize for that, there’s just so much that happens on this show but to answer your question, nothing really happens and JJ stays happily married and best friends with Reid in the end.

It would’ve been a mess and honestly just awkward if JJ and Reid got together in the final season like that. Jack Betz, Will was definitely overprotective of JJ and Henry in the New York scene, but his point was proven at the end of that episode when Hotch and Kate Joyner endured a car bomb. Will was definitely thankful that wasn't JJ instead. Will had lost his father in Hurricane Katrina and he simply didn't want to lose any more family even though JJ wasn't his wife yet. But in episode 200 we found out that when JJ was away in Season 6 she was in Afghanistan and she found out she was pregnant again, but the two unsubs she was looking for gave her a Humvee ambush that caused her to miscarry the baby. I don't think JJ even told Will she was pregnant again afterwards because of that New York scene.
