💖 I’m going to DCT in October for a full set of implants and porcelain crowns. I’m also gonna be staying at the Akra hotel, so it was great to see what it’s actually like inside the hotel. I know this probably sounds like an odd question, but did you guys see a lot of stray dogs in Antalya? xx

YouCanDoIt • I’m not gonna lie, I am concerned about Covid-19 but I don’t know if I can reschedule my appointment at DCT and my booking at Akra...?? I will look into it though, I don’t want to get sick or potentially bring it home and make my family sick.😷 Thanks for your concern though. xx
Update: Due to the current Coronavirus pandemic I have rescheduled my trip to Antalya for next summer. I’m hoping that by summer 2021 it will be safer to travel and that I will be able to go to DCT for my treatment without the concerns and difficulties that would be involved with going in October.

Bull, you are definitely right Bro. Lol A lot of the videos I saw they said it was pain free, but I am here in Antalya now, and i completed my treatment today. It was most definitely uncomfortable and some pain in the process! Lol Well worth it though. I love my new teeth.

Yes they filed down our teeth to nubs . And yes we both got EMax but not laminate we got crowns

You had beautiful natural teeth , personally I would have chosen non invasive procedures, like maybe some straitening or natural whitening. Shaving down healthy teeth feels extreme and I sincerely hope you are not going to live to regret this.

Can u let me know how long the appointments are going in July for 6 nights told appointment 1 is day 1 then 2 more but don't know how long They are roughly .appointment 3 is day 5 or 6 this sound right?
Hey we stayed for 6 days also
Day 1: appt/consult (we happened to get our teeth shaved on this same day)
Day 2 : presentation
Day 3 : off
Day 4 : off
Day 5 : fitting
Day 6 : follow up appt

Yes identical feeling!
Which is stronger... e.max or standard zirconium porcelain crowns?
EMAX is more translucent & an overall better material but I would check with one of the dentist at dental centre Turkey! 🙂
honeybulltv they suggest that for molars, emax is not strong enough and say the only option is the standard zirconium porcelain... I keep reading manufacturers and even the Dental Centre Turkey information suggesting that emax is better... but the clinic say it’s not when it comes to dealing with bite/pressure. Interested to get opinions. I’m in Turkey now.
