I've had a few things certified and 1000 extra is a little much. Do some research and see how much certification cost and you'll find out it isn't 1000 to get something certified. Buy uncertified and get it done yourself will save a few bucks no lie

You can't color grade mounted diamonds. The color of the setting will interfere.

Lol, the uncertified studs didn’t look too great 🫤 If you’re spending that much money and looking for larger stones I really think people should be considering going for a semi-colorless diamond. Definitely don’t go buying some D or E colored bois. But definitely stay above G! Especially if you’re mounting them in a beautiful precious white metal like platinum, high karat white gold, etc. H and I can be a bargain and look great mounted in rose gold or yellow gold though!

When I got an offer of a 3 carat lab made F-G stone for $4500 my world changed 😂 for private buyers shopping for family jewelry, we don’t give a daaaamm about y’all certificates lol wipe my baby’s ass with it haha I realized my necklaces have uncertified random diamonds I’ve bought in Seybold Miami anyway, nobody’s even thinking of talking certificates there, diamonds are diamonds, I’ll take them all thank you 🤌🏻
