I looked it up, and apparently there are multiple possible endings. You can also take care of the mutated animals non-lethally, I think by feeding (human meat) them and tranqing them, and then extracting their parasites. And you can also cure/stall your own infection from studying the parasites you collect from them, and whipping up medicine based on that.
I doubt you all will ever go back to play this, but just wanted to share.
You can only get the bad ending on the first playthrough and currently the second playthrough is a bit glitched out and being fixed.
Manly has a full first playthrough.
To be clear, do you mean feeding the mutated animals meat, *then* tranqing them and extracting their parasites, or do you mean feeding them *or* tranqing them?
to be fair to the penguins if Jane was chasing me around with a needle trying to get my blood i too would run away.
as an aussie it's nice to see a game finally give a wallaby the mouth tummy it's always meant to of had

@codmanout9861 Well, it did seem to solve itself when she lowered the graphics settings (which I don't think would reduce the amount of data sent over the internet significantly).
And I don't stream particularly often (only sometimes with friends), but from experience it can be quite demanding on the old computer to have a resource intensive game, a video call and streaming software running at the same time.
@@codmanout9861 Given that Jane hears Andy fine, and everything stabilizes when the game is presumably not the focused window when Jane is troubleshooting, it definitely seems to be more of an issue with the OBS or streamlabs or whatever software it is they're using not having enough CPU to to work right than it is an internet issue.
If you don't sign it, he just murders you.
Also I am not sure if the game is fixed or not, but the second playthrough is glitched and you can't beat it, because the more you play and beat the game the more options you get and it allows you to unlock more endings. I hope for a murder the zoo owner ending.
Google says such an ending exists.

I'd like to see a non horror version of this type of game. Still in a zoo maybe but you really are a vet and it was a cute style.
I’ve seen this game played a few times and everyone balks at the idea of the poop sucker. But I’d love it. I have a medium sized dog who does two extra large poops a day. I pick it up myself now, but if I could just suck it up, I’d be so happy. I need a poop sucker lol
where i live the cleaning company for the roads got lil e-cars with a trunk and muzzle attached, basically a large vacuum cleaner that u can ride in. it's called the "shlorp machine" and its purpose is exactly what u described 😅
the way they played this game stressed me out 😂
This playthrough was the perfect length for a horror game stream. It has everything, the chill (ish) zen beginning, the stressful middle, the horrifying climax, and the scary ending just as you were ending the stream! Just perfect!

Horror rating: 3/5. Boy, those animals were scary, but the protagonist's lack of survival instincts frightened me the most! Please don't feed your family unknown meat.
Entertainment rating: 5/5. Absolutely love Jane the chill zookeeper! It got surprisingly wholesome watching her pet the animals and make them medicine 🥺
Favourite moment: Tinker the penguin tinkering with the playability of the game!
Oh, and obviously animal cruelty.
Super excited to see the F.E.A.R. stream. Was terrified of that game as a teen.
I wish Hallowstream would do the watch parties of old Horror movies again, I really enjoyed those and occasionally would put on The Brain that Wouldn't Die to play in the background

It's clear to me that the corpse order is messed up. You were *supposed* to get the dead man first and the related phone call, and the SECOND corpse after the mutant wallaby was supposed to be the alive girl. It's kind of embarrassing that they messed up such important and basic things as "are the plot events happening in the correct order"

Well, they did get AN ending...
Apparently the game's quality was hurt by the writer dying before it could be finished. That makes me sad.
I really enjoyed their attitude, though: unspeakable horrors and crimes going on at the hub! Well, better get to the next animal enclosure... we don't want the animals getting hungry.

This game feels like it might be one of those PETA funded games where people get horribly brutalized for "mistreatment of animals". The horrible secret will kill everyone as punishment for cruelly imprisoning animals.
Why, oh why, after all these years, do you still not play these tutorials/prologues that every horror game has before the stream?
Then when live it would take 2 mins to bring every one up to speed with the story and you could actually play the part when the proper horror game starts, not spend half the video on busy work tutorials.
So far the video is half way through and you’re still fiddling with controls and figuring out the basics. None of this is scary, there’s no tension, no story happening. This would only make sense if you guys were the sort of channel that does whole play throughs of games, but this is a one and done stream of an unoptimized indie game for Halloween.

It would be nice to either hear the story or have you guys give a synopsis to get engaged with what's going on. You guys can have a conversation beforehand and then let us hear what's going on after.
This channel is very relaxed and more about the fun of gaming then it is explaining lore, pro gamer strats etc. If you want the story and lore fully there are plenty of channels that do that. Oxbox is more not taking it all that seriously and just having a laugh.
If you're actually here to engage with the story this is not the channel for you
Walt didn't say that they were here for the deep lore or for progamer strats, the game has an intro and they wanted to see it to know what was going on whilst Jane and Andy played. Y'know, the plot that Jane Andy will be talking about and referring to? They're not asking for a lot and personally, i find both of y'alls responses annoying and pedantic. Let your fave youtubers receive mild valid complaints, i promise you it's fine
@@jadynkay5241 They specifically said for them to have their conversation before they start, and then fill us in. Most people here are here for the conversation and commentary, if we wanted to just absorb the game we would play it ourselves, or watch a No Commentary playthrough
