Enjoy.
That’s cool to hear you’ve had 4 S-Classes. There’s one at a dealer near me. It’s a 2014 Maybach, for $30k, with just under 100k. Would you buy it? I don’t think I could afford it, but I was just curious if that car was a decent buy or not. It looks amazing in the photos. I bought a 2014 Hyundai Equus w/similar miles, and it was $15k. Not the swagger of the Benz, but I do love it. I know the Benz’s can last, if taken care of, so curious if the Maybach is a good deal or not.
This is one of the best Mercedes reviews I've ever seen. This is peak luxury at a possible price but the only downfall it takes money to keep. Waiting till you can afford this is definitely worth it, I would hate to be stressed with all this cool stuff in my car

Grand purchase Randy and I'm sure that there will be a good selection of purchasers who want to share the dream when you are ready to sell it.
As a 2016 it could possibly have the upgraded ceramic cylinder sleeves making this quite a ‘reliable’ m157. A lot more reliable than the early 2014 M278 s550 that you had before. I’ve seen 2016+ m278/157 go well beyond 150k with no issues. Just the oil wicking in the wiring harness
Even though there are concerns over depreciation and reliability issues, this S63 AMG is a beast. A fast twin-turbo V8, technology and features, the space, and comfort, it proves why the S-Class is the bar when it comes to large luxury sedans. Even though I would take the LS 460 from this time period, the S-Class has the reputation among luxury vehicles. Definitely get Monkey Wrench Mike to have a look over the S63.
