been min maxing freyna and here something they don’t tell you; neurotoxin synthesis is the best boss transcendent for freyna and it’s not even close. Quick explanation, freyna’s problem with her tic damage is that you have to hit an enemy with room 0 trauma for them to spread her stronger dot to nearby enemies, which sucks in bosses since they barely have anything near them. If you build neurotoxin synthesis, it does 2 things that drastically change the way freyna plays and builds. 1. it increases the base skill damage of your poison dot drastically including her 4, making it so skill power is better for her all across the board, and 2. it puts the strong dot directly on the enemy instead of the weaker one

Wait a second, so normally I hit a boss with her ult and it will only get the weak room 0 trauma dot and the poison dot not since that one is for surrounding enemies. But you saying that with that transcendence mod I pop ult, shoot the boss and it will get both room 0 trauma and poison dot on it?! Or do I have to run close to boss and wait for the boss to walk on my poisoned ground?
That’s really awesome! I’m curious to try that at some point and see if it manages to improve the bossing experience. I do like that Venom Synth increases the skill power, gives me movement, but the mod is def flexible. I don’t know how impactful the Neurotoxin would be overall. I find it hard to believe that I could get anything faster than 1-3 seconds compared to my current records rn on Devourer/Executioner/DeadBride/Pyro
@@xenvius_ so thanks to the valby farm, me having almost all modules, and 2 hours of sitting there in laboratory here is the truth behind freyna. Everyone is playing her wrong. First off, i would say both builds have one problem and that is without the transcendent mod, freyna is useless in bossing, the only thing that seems to pump out damage without the transcend mod is your ult, but with neurotoxin synthesis even your ult does more damage, increasing the base of Room 0 trauma to 553%, and on your 1 and 2 it goes from 10% to 125% base, making your poison procs actually do something. This also means you no longer need to focus on skill modifier, as you will get more value from skill power since all your values are above 100% base. Next is her poison mechanics. Room 0 trauma is its own proc, and your 3rd ability has its own proc too. Poison can only be applied once from abilities, and it does not refresh, or apply the poison with the higher scaling, it applies whichever poison proc hits them first. this means if you are going to ult , it is important to make sure you ult before throwing out abilities, as your ult has the strongest poison proc by a landslide. Don’t just spam shoot your ult either, if you are running neurotoxins synthesis, 1 singular bullet is all it takes to kill any weak enemy ,like boss summons as the room 0 trauma proc is so strong it will kill them over time. Shooting a singular bullet at the boss, then shooting a singular bullet at the mobs all around the tileset, to then focus rest of your ult on boss is the best way to freyna ult.You also want to pay attention to the poison debuff on the enemy, as since your ult poison is literally 5x stronger than your normal, you want to save a bullet for when the proc is about to run out on the boss. I could go on and on, but i’ll leave my build here for now and i’ll drop a video once i get to hitting 1m posion crit proc( currently at 250k-600k depending on content) Neurotoxin synthesis Increased Hp(can change w/ Battle of Stamina) Skill simplification( very important) Skill Extension Nimble Fingers Time Distribution( can change w/ immunities) An Outstanding Investment(change w/def up) Focus on Toxic Skill Concentration Front Lines Walk a tightrope( change w/ Hp collector,Dangerous ambush, depending on content) This build is the most optimal with freyna bossing especially dungeon, where dying for ult reset isn’t an option, as it gives cooldown, duration, power and survivability, and all of the changes mentioned allow this build flexibility with different content, such as changing time distribution for an immunity mod. If you need explanation on any module and why it’s chosen over something i can explain. Lastly for mobbing, the 2 most important things on freyna for mobbing is Decimator and Venom synthesis, which you would change walking on a tightrope for decimator. Decimator gives 5% skill power modifier for enemies killed with a debuff on them, max of 10 stacks. Combine this with venom synthesis giving you 30% movement speed and leaving a trail of poison behind you, literally just speedrun content. switch out skill extension for skill expansion, as for mobbing you don’t need as much durability since your poison will be killing in 1-3 procs. Last thing tho. The reason you don’t run tech specialist on freyna is because your 2 does dimensional damage. running skill simplification makes it so ALL 4 of your abilities will do more damage, as like i said earlier, you can only proc one poison proc, so if the enemy hits you and procs room 0 trauma from your 2, you would be losing lots of damage out on that enemy and any enemy it spreads poison to
Okay, I have to ask about skill concentration and insight, why those? I'm not sure if I've missed something or not but Freyna has an abysmally low skill crit rate to begin with at 5%, even with your 180% invested into it, you shouldn't even be breaking 15% crit rate unless I'm missing something. Do those make that much more of an impact? Is there no better option? Also how do you get more shots with Freyna's machine gun ability? Does it get some mods from a weapon or something?
dont know about crit but more shots for ult is achieved by putting in a firing fiesta mod in your regular gun, reload your gun, pull out your ult, and the perk works on your ult (does not consume ammo for 3 sceonds or whatever is left of those 3 seconds)
Nice job on these - I like Sharp Precision Shot on the 4 skill. Firing Fiesta works better with it IMO, so that might be worth another try with a bit more skill duration to make it last long enough. You can actually trigger Firing Fiesta on a weapon, then switch to a weapon with Sharp Precision Shot, and you'll get both on the 4. One thing I want to try is the fully enhanced Secret Garden. You can use Spray and Pray as an equivalent to Firing Fiesta, and using 1, 3, and 4 skills will give you quite a big skill power boost. Also, the Colossus damage option on the reactor will make a noticeable difference for bossing
I love Firing Fiesta. Def great for the 4. I dont really want any part of my loadout to be a stat stick so this was my best attempt to make use out of everything (the other guns will be helpful when group bossing). Ty:)
If a transcendent mod is maxed out I understand it lowers the cost. But in this case seeing Venom Synthesis for example would cost 4 then? Thats also including that a rutile socket has been added as if there wasn’t the card would cost 8?
Can you get to max stacks with SPS on Python? Seems like you would run out of ammo prior to reaching max. Mental focus might be better? IDK tho haven't tested it out
I’m a freyna main and haven’t used a single penny in the game. That being said I don’t have fully max capped guns and modules and I hate that more than half of the hard bosses are toxic properties (No I don’t look up on youtube for contents I haven’t reached yet so it took me by surprise). I still deal significant damage but nowhere near enough to solo. I regret grinding for freyna because of this but I’ll probably change my mind when new void bosses get released. I wish I started with a different descendant although Freyna is actually good.
You extend the magazine of the python and use sharp precision shot, because it effects her 4 ability, right? But why dont you just put these mods on a second ultimate weapon with a corresponding reactor and just switch weapons before using her 4. In this case you can try to maximize the python dmg witthout considering her abilities.

I gotta say, I see “boss killer” title i fast forward 10 seconds if I just see a quick highlight of a solo devourer kill I click off. It’s a good measurement for what builds are applicable and are not but any mediocre build on a dps descendant can kill devo in sub 30 seconds. (Edit) and to anyone really about that min max kill speed go get a max swap speed Nezetras Devotion (pretty easy farm only took me a few hours to get the pieces for lvl 4 ability) and before firing fiesta magazines give any boss a quick weak point pop-swap to your main gun and enjoy the -30%def. It’s a little micromanagy but once you get used to it it’s just a quick swap *pop* and swap. Makes a huge difference with ANY boss while soloing idk why content creators haven’t picked up the strat yet. Edit:(again) btw the -30%def only lasts 3 seconds that’s why you go max swap speed Nez Devo
@@IFrostBolt That’s awesome, though the overall point of my comment still stands in regards to devourers quality of power scaling builds, perhaps at the end of the videos as an extra after everything show a clip from stream(or if you don’t stream tfd, haven’t tuned in for a hot minute) or your solo gameplay of you killing those other bosses. I was thinking what about switching consume mags for poison priority. WIth the negative reload percentage you can actually roll the moment you put the mag in during the animation and get a full reload at base reload time.

I'm also investing in the poison queen, but it's a living hell just to get the Python. I do have fallen hope, which is reasonably a good weapon , but not as good as the python . Where did you do your farming for all the python parts. I have 2 parts , still grinding for the other two. .

You farm the components sets from hard mode bosses in intercept battles. Dead bride drops the venom set you’ll need or slayer set is good option which u get from pyromancer hard mode
Not necessary. This setup succeeds in Solo/Group Bossing and Mobbing. In my testing, the outcome is similar. This Freyna build melted Devourer and Executioner in 30sec and Pyro in 40sec. Maybe if I wanted to do it 2 seconds faster, but then you’d be giving up things in other areas

Still leveling my python. Fking game always gives me the 20-10% drop rather than the Pyhton blueprint at 32% drop rate. Im farming 63 pattern because I don't have viessa to farm pattern 71.
Exactly that. Skill power boosts the damage calculation on the front-end, modifier on the back-end. If you want a simple rule of thumb: skill power is better if the ability hits for more than 100% of your skill power stat. If it's less than 100% (like Freyna's base poison) then modifier will be stronger.
in hardmode Defence its more req than elemental resists, like i have had no resists at all from normal till final hardemode boss. its honestly not needed
@@1777franky People who have done the math say 5k is a sweet spot and after that it won’t matter much, but practically, when you’re not taking 10 minutes killing a boss, elemental resistance doesn’t matter much because you won’t be taking much damage from them. For example dead bride, if you don’t get into her blizzard constantly and can finish her off quickly, why would you need chill resist that much. Same for devourer if you can see in this video he dodges majority of attacks so it doesn’t matter much. Recommended elemental resistance by the game is more for players who wanna fight auto (E.g. using the auto equip modules option), imho.
I don't think building crit her is worth. It's very forced. With your build she only has 14%chance to crit. Even if you went all out and did 4 crit mods that only brings it to 15.7. I personally don't think it's worth it. Those 3 slots could have been used on range, duration, more cool down, cost reduction. Legit anything else. 5 base crit isn't worth building up.
Thats the first thing that came to my mind, her base crit values are REALLY bad, same with the python. Freyna is not a crit descendant and python is not a crit weapon. Right there is the biggest issue I see with this build.
@@tobydorival no it doesnt. her skill crit is a base of 5% maxed out crit is 15.7 crit. im not sure why you think it has "insane synergy" but lets say for some reason it works with the crit rate mods on a weapon. edging shot gives 43, while insight gives 39, using both of those on a stat stick weapon brings that 15.7 to 28.5. your now 6 mod slots deep (4 on her 2 on the weapon) just to force crit to still be ass. so since you seem to know something i dont, can you explain how this is worth it over building more CD and getting the CD of venom baptism down to 28 sec so your not just throwing yourself off a cliff. because what hes doing only works in these weak colosi. anything you need a group to do ppl are gona leave if you start jumping off a cliff.
OMG. Sad example since this build shows all Mods maxed out, and all module spaces allocated to a fixed Slot type. Not a very useful example for the majority of the players, but good on your for all the hard work and grinding it took to get all this.

I am glad you got to this point in your build for Freyna, but there are a ton of prerequisites here not mentioned. Especially the use of about 3 catalysts?
If you have played the game even a little you will know that this is hard mode. And also know that it's the easiest boss, so 33sec is not even close to being among the good bossing builds out there.

You might try Skill Simplification over Maximize Power, since the bonus is nearly as big with no cooldown penalty.

The build kills Devourer, Executioner in 30 seconds. It kills Pyro is 40seconds. It killed Dead Pride in 1mim.

I have a question, why you have more ammo on the ultimate, which mod allows me to have more ammo on the ultimate.
You keep mentioning skill but only skill you use is the Ultimate. I assume that the Dot poison tics scales of your skill numbers?

You farm the components sets from hard mode bosses in intercept battles. Dead bride drops the venom set you’ll need or slayer set is good option which u get from pyromancer hard mode

Not sure spell crit is worth it her base is only 5% so your 180% is only giving you what 14% total spell crit.

Not necessary. This setup succeeds in Solo/Group Bossing and Mobbing.
In my testing, the outcome is similar. This Freyna build melted Devourer and Executioner in 30sec and Pyro in 40sec. Maybe if I wanted to do it 2 seconds faster, but then you’d be giving up things in other areas
I’m sure other people already have god rolled Python. But my RNG just to get the parts is awful, it’s making this game is becoming not fun.

I don't understand using the gold mod for soloing boss since it won't work by yourself because the boss is always targeting you. You lose alot of dps.

Still leveling my python. Fking game always gives me the 20-10% drop rather than the Pyhton blueprint at 32% drop rate. Im farming 63 pattern because I don't have viessa to farm pattern 71.
What’s difference between skill power and modifier?
Exactly that.
Skill power boosts the damage calculation on the front-end, modifier on the back-end.
If you want a simple rule of thumb: skill power is better if the ability hits for more than 100% of your skill power stat.
If it's less than 100% (like Freyna's base poison) then modifier will be stronger.

If you are talking about the blueprint, you really need to use the sharon strategy. The chest you will get gives a 32% chance to drop it

in hardmode Defence its more req than elemental resists, like i have had no resists at all from normal till final hardemode boss. its honestly not needed
I never ever used resistances😂 its a total waste of, i been able to run through the game without it🤷🏽♂️ focus on HP and Defense bro
You get all your necessary resistance from components. Any more and you encounter fall-off

@@1777franky People who have done the math say 5k is a sweet spot and after that it won’t matter much, but practically, when you’re not taking 10 minutes killing a boss, elemental resistance doesn’t matter much because you won’t be taking much damage from them. For example dead bride, if you don’t get into her blizzard constantly and can finish her off quickly, why would you need chill resist that much. Same for devourer if you can see in this video he dodges majority of attacks so it doesn’t matter much. Recommended elemental resistance by the game is more for players who wanna fight auto (E.g. using the auto equip modules option), imho.

When you solo a boss it 30 seconds I think it's more about the weapon. I've gone in there and beat the boss before it can really hit me. No skills
i also think the crit stuff is pointless on her, all u did was waste mats and mod space to increase her crit from 5% to like 11%

Most of the Round per magazine and fire rate mods gives you extra bullets. Mods with weapon change speed and reload time seems to also improve 4th.

I don't think building crit her is worth. It's very forced. With your build she only has 14%chance to crit. Even if you went all out and did 4 crit mods that only brings it to 15.7. I personally don't think it's worth it. Those 3 slots could have been used on range, duration, more cool down, cost reduction. Legit anything else. 5 base crit isn't worth building up.
Thats the first thing that came to my mind, her base crit values are REALLY bad, same with the python. Freyna is not a crit descendant and python is not a crit weapon. Right there is the biggest issue I see with this build.

@@tobydorival no it doesnt. her skill crit is a base of 5% maxed out crit is 15.7 crit. im not sure why you think it has "insane synergy" but lets say for some reason it works with the crit rate mods on a weapon. edging shot gives 43, while insight gives 39, using both of those on a stat stick weapon brings that 15.7 to 28.5. your now 6 mod slots deep (4 on her 2 on the weapon) just to force crit to still be ass.
so since you seem to know something i dont, can you explain how this is worth it over building more CD and getting the CD of venom baptism down to 28 sec so your not just throwing yourself off a cliff. because what hes doing only works in these weak colosi. anything you need a group to do ppl are gona leave if you start jumping off a cliff.

OMG. Sad example since this build shows all Mods maxed out, and all module spaces allocated to a fixed Slot type.
Not a very useful example for the majority of the players, but good on your for all the hard work and grinding it took to get all this.

The builds I am seeing are well and good, but all I see is solo. Nothing with groups. Bosses scale with the number of people.
That's my problem with these builds. All the bosses that can be soloed are easy. And devourer is legit the easiest of them.

If you have played the game even a little you will know that this is hard mode. And also know that it's the easiest boss, so 33sec is not even close to being among the good bossing builds out there.
