Time for a female hierarchy
My dad was killed in WWll (I'm 81 now) and my mother never remarried or even dated. We were in very small town and she intended to raise my sisters and I in the Faith with no breath of scandal. She did it and it was very hard but we all felt the lack of a father. It was like a tree hit by lightning. The tree kept growing but it was never really right again. We still miss him and pray for them both. I feel that they already in Heaven and watching out for us!

I'm sorry you had that pain of loosing your dad when so young and having that void. He certainly looked after you and your family and perhaps was able to do so more in union with God. Have a good day!

my father died in 1987, I'm 43 now. my mother also didn't remarry or even date again. I was raised catholic and although I fell away for awhile I've finally come back home and I'm so happy I was given enough time to do so.
From Ireland. I became a widow at age 32. I asked St. Joseph to be Guardian of myself and my 3young children. I wanted to live a celibate life., which I have Thank God. I can't start to tell you how much help and strength I got bringing up the children. I'm 77yrs.now. We all love St. Joseph. He is an awesome Saint and great gift from God to us all. 🌹

I was trying to fix some bathroom piping for my Aunt a few years back and was really struggling. Despite 3 trips to the hardware store, it appeared my efforts were in vain. Just as I was getting ready to give up I appealed to St. Joseph as a patron saint of workers. Within seconds, things that didn’t work the past 90 minutes, all of a sudden worked! Praise to St. Joseph!

I had three beautiful aunts that were Sisters of St Joseph. They lived to the ages of 92, 95, and 102. They went to the convent at the age of 16. Their whole life was in the service of the Lord in the society of the Sisters of St Joseph.
Sr Gabriella, born Angela Mary Wagner, passed away this year at 102. May God bless her, and if she is already a saint, may she pray for me in my fatherhood and my spiritual life.

Fall and winter of 2020, we were looking for a smaller town for our retirement home. A faithful parish was high on our checklist. Having heard of the St Joseph tradition for home sellers I decided to pray to St. Joseph for guidance as a home buyer.
Shortly after, I had the first dream ever of a saint and it was St. Joseph. He told me there would be apple trees. As we searched for a home, I kept looking for apple trees, but nothing seemed to fit. Last February, amid a couple feet of snow, we found a place that ticked all our boxes - the parish has a wonderful priest - but no apple trees. Sticking to the dream, I decided that meant I should plant apple trees.
Then the lockdown happened and we were shut out from even visiting until our move on May 1. The trees were budding out and what did I find? Two apple trees along the neighbor's side of the fence with limbs overhanging our yard. Yowza!
Hubby did the consecration first. It has changed a good guy into an even better one. I am now including it in my Lenten devotions. St. Joseph, pray for us.

I have a special devotion to St. Joseph. When my Mom was diagnosed w/ liver cancer, and was getting worst, I prayed a novena to St. Joseph for her peaceful death. When she had a painful episode, 3pm, Dec. 6, 2016, she didn't suffer long, at 8pm the same day, after the priest gave her the last right, she peaceful passed away.
I lost my father to cancer as well, they got to give back satisfaction yoGod through What they suffered and I believe because of that, they went straight into heaven
The Catholic Church is alive and well. I am being shown this everywhere I go. It is amazing! I love St. Joseph.
Oh man, this is hitting me right in the feels. Knowing that Jesus had a loving mother and a loving father makes the crucification so much worse.
I am a young lady and when i started praying to St. Joseph i automatically felt at peace as well! He is a very sweet and gentle father figure that you feel right away. He also goes to work in your life in a second.

Every Wednesday is for St Joseph: pray the litany of St Joseph and pray a consecration prayer to him (you can find these in the Consecration to St Joseph book). Pray the rosary (every day!).
I have tickets to see Fr Calloway in a few weeks. His book Under the Mantel is amazing. Loved the line. "When we are born we have a mother. When we are born again in Christ, we have a new mother, The Blessed Virgin Mary."

Great episode, thank you. St. Joseph has always been very special to me- my parents were foster parents to over 250 handicapped kids, a loving home where they taught my siblings and me to be kind and patient and grateful for what we had, in such a way to share it with other kids not so fortunate. Both my parents passed away peacefully, and they each had very remarkable events at their passing, AND, a week after my Mom passed away, we were able to sell our house that had been on the market for 8 months, having asked for the intercession of St. Joseph for that time. He is a constant companion and intercessor for my family, as we ask for his help as our own children become adults and branch off on their own. I have definitely seen his hand in my life, and am truly grateful for this gentle, yet strong holy man.
Father Calloway , on the Day 6th of Consecration of St Joseph I had a deep mystical experience.
I always pray to St Joseph when I have a difficult situation, in recent months I have had issues with my house, I asked him to send me the right people to sort it out all was taking care of. St Joseph never let's me down 🙏
Great show! I am on day 13 of the consecration with the intent of completing it on St. Joseph's feast day, March 19. I'm learning so much and I feel a bit sad that I let St. Joseph be in the background for much of my life. I was baptized, had first communion, confirmation and married at St. Joseph Church in CA and then renewed my 30th wedding vows at a mass at St. Joseph Church in Moorea, French Polynesia. St. Joseph has always been in my life but I'm finally able to give him the honor and devotion he deserves. Thank you for this show.
I’ve been unemployed for a month I go back to work tomorrow. I’ve had many people praying for me and I’ve broken down and found a spirituality I can’t explain. This all lead up to me becoming stronger for my wife and son.
The more I hear of St. Joseph the more I am in love with my Sacred Family and my catholic faith!

My earthly father who has passed away almost 20 years ago was alot like St. Joseph he lead our family with prayer. Every night as a family we prayed the Holy Rosary no excuses all included. By the way, my father was also a fisherman. I love hearing your discussions and becoming spiritually fed. Thanks to God.

I don't feel this subject is promoted enough, for example, when little girls receive their first communion or even become brides, they wear white, a sign of
Purity and even virginity. This is not the same for young boys and men. Also the reason many people need to think of St Joseph was an old man when he married Mary is because they can't accept the fact that a young man can have self control and be chaste, pure and celebate, especially in marriage.
My Mother did an excellent job at leading us to God. Thank you.

One of my 7 actually did say mama first and it was hilarious because his dad insisted on letting him cry so he wouldn't be spoiled, so my ex husband was just sitting there playing a video game with the baby screaming next to him and i was washing dishes angry as can be. My son forced himself up to his knees and screamed MAMA!!! Needless to say, he got picked up! 💞💞💞💞💞

THE LORETTO CHAPEL STAIRCASE that technicians and contractors said was impossible to build. Maybe he helped me save my fingers from the table saw. Ha!

I just wanna share my realization upon hearing the discussion about the Beatitudes in relation to Saint Joseph's chastity. Now it make more sense to me that it is the reason why those people in Jesus' time struggled to recognize or didn't recognize Him at all, it's because of their corrupted heart. And so we must mirrored it in every generation as in ours. ❤️

Father Donald Calloway is so, so awesome. Thank you for having him. I am os grateful for the extraordinary Priests ... such as Father James Altman, Father Robert Altier, Father Mark Goring, and so many other Priests in our beloved church. God bless them for dedicating their whole life to the church. Now looiking back to 1992 when I did my first Communion and Confirmation I realized that I am so, so grateful that I did it in the chruch in my neighborhood back in Honduras dedicated to Saint Joseph. I am baptized in San Francisco de Asis church. Communion and Confirmation in San Jose church.. I have been a Catholic my whole life. I am so, so extremely grateful for my beloved faith and teachings of the church. In October 1998 I made a promise that I will never, never, ever as long as I live changed or leave my Catholic Faith. Beautiful talk. Fr Calloway , you are a living example of holiness , please pray for us. You and all other priests andreligious are in our prayers. My Catholic faith is I am thrilled with joy every moment. I encourage any one in this world come to Catholic faith. Love Jesus more than anything in this world, love Jesus in the Eucharist and blessed Sacrament. Love Jesus in the sacrament of confession and in other Sacraments , pray Rosary asking intercession to Mother Mary, St Joseph and all other Saints, I promise you you fill with joy and happiness which you can't compare with anything in this world even if you are a millionaire and you holding a highest job with good looking husband or wife. This is so awesome. My husband is currently going through RCIA… his biological father who was a deadbeat that he never knew was named Joseph. His Step Dad, also named Joseph was abusive. I pray that my sweet Husband can find a new connection and home with his Spiritual Father Joseph , as he continues to embark on this amazing journey. 🙏🏻🤍

How can women relate to St Joseph? Here’s a story... A spinster was asking St Joseph to pray for her to find a husband, but it seemed as if nothing was happening. Frustrated, she threw his statue out of the window, shouting, “You’re no good!”. Moments later, a man rang on her doorbell, held up the statue and said, “I was just walking down the street when this hit me on the back of the head. Is it yours?” That man became her husband.
